DENVER -- Shane Bieber did what he does on the road, José Ramírez did what he does everywhere and the Guardians snapped a 20-year drought -- OK, it was only eight games -- in Colorado with a 4-3, 10-inning win over the Rockies on Tuesday night at Coors Field.

Ramírez had three more RBIs to extend his MLB-leading total to 62, and his top-spin double that rocketed by first baseman C.J. Cron drove in Amed Rosario for the winning run in the top of the 10th inning to give Cleveland its first victory at Coors Field since June 16, 2002......  Nice.

★ That was one of the best 2-1 games last night I’ve seen in recent history. Oh yeah !

And Kershaw was gone after 5.  
 

Two manufactured runs.

Three End of the bench RPs stepping up and blanking a high powered offense.  Some people said that the Guardians would fall flat against the Dodgers.   Didn't happen.  I like the pitching matchup in game 2/3 on FOX TV tonight. 

Grinding away pitch after pitch to get their ACE out of the game.  I thought we were sitting in the driver seat and then the Dodgers bring in a middle relief pitcher that hit 100. 

Plesac throwing his beat game of the year.  Plesac went 6 solid innings. 

The bullpen did a great job even without their regular closer !

On and On and on…this is one of the most exciting teams that this organization has ever fielded.  And the youngest team in MLB by 2 years to PIT, KC and others.   The new core ???

Urias is a tough customer.
 

 We have a tough make or break 17 game stretch here and we are 1-0 in it thus far.  We go 9-8 and we are heading towards the All-Star break in good position to make a run for a wildcard or dare I say division title. 
 

Eight of these games in this stretch are against the twins (almost unheard of) and a great opportunity to maybe take the lead in the division. 

I had 70 wins as a floor but I should have known better with the pitching and Tito.  I thought 85 win ceiling which could get us into the expanded playoff format. 
 

What do we do with Franimal now? Who is sitting when he comes back? Do we even entertain the idea of him playing RF (that’s scary) I’ve seen him lumber out in the field in San Diego a few years back

I didn't think the Guardians would be near or above  .500 at the AS Break and maybe become a better team to close out 2022.  That is characteristic of a Franconia team, finish good in AUG/SEP.  

They are showing flashes of a contending team, let's hope that they continue to bond as a team.

Will Fran platoon as DH maybe with Jose when he needs a break ?  As far as his defense that's often the problem with big sluggers where do you put them.  This team still needs runs with their small ball.  That will remain as a work in progress. 

With their pitching they could be a. 500+ team in September.  Should be interesting. 

...... edit, remember too with KC, DET this is an "easy" division.
