I think the problem with electric vehicles is that somebody in government is getting rich from them and wants to force the issue faster then it should be implemented. Who do you think you are kidding? Back in the day, "anti-war" students went to D.C. to protest the Vietnam war. A bunch got arrested and held at RFK stadium. Guess what? All the anti-war speakers? all the leaders of the "movement" ? they used the students bus money for the way back, and threw themselves a great big wild party. They never went to the protests at all. Kids had to wire home for money to get home. they were betrayed. I know this story, because one day, on a busy lunchtime, I went and had lunch at the student union. Two gals were sitting in the only booth with an open bench on one side, as I walked by, a gal who had seen me around said I could sit there. Her friend had tears rolling down her face. Her brother was in Vietnam, and she was so betrayed. It was a farce - all the fake outrage. They had been manipulated and made fools of. I see the same things going on now - dancing, foul signs, laughing, "angry" screaming..... but who pays for their buses and their hotels and meals? eh? Who manufacturers and gives out all those same signs? Anyways, So, did you commute, or live on campus. Maybe had a room at a college of engineering closet? (pun intended).
