About murders - "we have to do something" solution!

So, seriously, maybe this is a solution that will SOLVE the problem with violence by murderers who use guns.

or, violence by murderers who use knives, cars, etc.

In Israel - all able citizens have to serve in the military for two years. Men and women.

In the military, I knew kids who grew up fast, especially in basic. lol.

   So, suppose every kid out of hs had to serve for two years in our military?

and got two years paid for their college? So many aspects of life to learn from

 serving. Discipline, respect, mental toughness, teamwork, strong sense of accomplishment, adventure....

  that nobody gets from being in hs. So much to learn - firing, respecting a gun, UCMJ, etc etc.

Maybe if kids in hs had that to look forward too, they would have hope for the future, instead of throwing it away

by violent lashing out with a weapon against others in school that have self-actualized and are happy, with happy home lives...(or sometimes not, but they "endeavor to persevere" .....

Maybe see the world and learn how wonderful America is.
