Baby boomers aren't exactly the benevolent leaders kept in power by a grateful electorate that they make themselves out to be; they are still in charge simply due to the numbers game. They are the largest voter cohort.

As such, I don't expect them to quit leaching out every nickel they can to benefit themselves to the detriment of the country and future generations until they've literally died off enough to where they're not the largest voting block anymore
