ImmeJor
hi all im going to be in town this weekend for the game, and i dont know much about the downtown cleveland area. any recommendations on places to watch the college games on saturday? we need to find a good spot to drink/eat all day and watch some football. we are staying downtown (st claire and 9th) and wont have a car, so it has to be within walking distance (or a short cab ride) thanks in advance for your suggestions!! DTBH
Was at Bob Golic's on West 6th for the first time before the Titans game, I liked that place. Not sure what it's like on Saturdays though.

ballpeen
Overpriced I am sure you can always find somewhere cheaper, but when you come in from out of town, saving $6 on the total tab usually isn't a primary concern.
JC
Dive Bar on West 6th is an OSU bar, if you're interested in the Buckeyes.
Dave
It really depends on your age. If your in your 20's, then hit the Dive Bar like JC mentioned, its got a sticky floor but the beer is cheap and they get a good crowd, Saturday night's game is going to be epic. If you a little older, Panini's on 6th is good, the TV's are a little small but the food's good and the beer's cheap. Also, you've got Blind pig, which can be dead during the day but they've got the best TV setup around with something like 8 TV's stacked on top of each other on two sides of the bar. Any way you slice it, W. 6th is the street to hit and its right down the street from where your staying, easily within stumbling distance after the bucks win. ClevelandFanForLife
you could always just pony up the $500 for a $40 ticket and drive down to osu and watch the game in person. that's what a smart man would do.

No problem man. Check out the tailgate section of the site...this group welcomes other teams fans to stop in and enjoy a little tailgate action in a friendly environment. Just remember on all the bars that they can get crowded...and noon is when many games kick-off.

The Gipper
I guess perhaps I am showing how long it has been since I have been down there....but are The Flats dead for game watching or what? It used to be one of the hoppingest party areas in the nation. Has the Warehouse district taken over? Or is that too upscale. I rarely go out to bars to watch these games anyway. I am either home or at a friend's house. That is sort of the deal when you get to be mid-50ish.
