The Revolt against the Elite

The revolt keeps growing, from tea parties to angry town hall meetings across the country, an uprising against the attempts of an elite to force on us an all-powerful State, about as welcome as grandma's cod-liver oil. Examples of revolt go beyond irate callers to radio talk shows.

 

Take for instance the incident at a Frankie Valli concert recently posted on American Thinker, and the disgust and anger in Joe Sheffat's article. Sen. Barbara Boxer encountered it, as did Sen. Claire McCaskill, who made the mistake of asking if she was trusted.

 

The elite seem unable to comprehend that anyone could possibly oppose their infinitely superior wisdom, hence the strange and radical smears against the town hall opposition.

 

No one could possibly have a better idea than us, the elite, therefore the town hall "mobs" must be fakes. Anyone, like Ronald Reagan, George Bush, or Sarah Palin, who thinks differently than us, the elite, surely must be of lower intellect. The elite are unable to understand that this is not about taxes, or health care, or politics. It is about them!

Actually, I would love to go to the tea party in Washington.

 

I'm checking into it...

 

What's worrisome, is that when code pink garbage interrupted events, well,

 

the leftist dems claimed "the people have spoken" right out of Mao's mentality.

 

But let millions of Americans across this country object to gov take over of everything?

 

And they turn on those Americans.

 

That spells a very serious, deep intention on their part that we have yet to

 

suffer from.

 

We are stopping it now.

 

And all the feeble rationalizations on their behalf by an arrogant few isn't going to work.

 

Either FIX problems, or shut up and get out, Obama.

 

And yes, there will be rationalized health care. Hell, even Ted Kennedy admitted it.

Some say Beck is a Loon, but the chubby boy is getting the job done.

 

[uPDATE:] The NEA has updated their statement to emphasize that Yosi Sargent remains with the agency, but in a different position: "As regards Yosi Sergant, he has not left the National Endowment for the Arts. He remains with the agency, although not as director of communications."

 

Sources familiar with the situation say that the move represents a significant step down and was the result of the controversy. Discussion about his new duties is still ongoing.

Glenn Beck has struck again.

 

Yosi Sergant, who recently popped up on Beck's radar for his involvement in a conference call on national service, has been asked to resign as communications director by the National Endowment for the Arts, sources familiar with the move tell the Huffington Post.

 

At issue was an August conference call in which the NEA encouraged select artists to participate in an administration project dubbed "United We Serve" and led by the first lady.

 

 

Beck attacked Sergant and the NEA on his Fox News talk show, accusing the agency of propaganda efforts similar to those used by Nazi Germany.

 

And now Sergant has been tossed overboard, making him Beck's second victim in his campaign to rid the administration of perceived radicals, socialists, communists, fascists, anarchists and all other manner of nefarious influences.

Perhaps not coincidentally, both Sergant and Van Jones - Beck's first takedown - have roots in on-the-ground organizing and were tightly connected with the grassroots progressive community.

 

The NEA wouldn't comment on Sergant's situation specifically, saying that it was a confidential personnel matter.

The leftists are so corrupt, they will demonize ANY person

 

who won't buy into their radicalism.

 

They want power, and they will destroy anybody who gets in their way.

 

But, the American people are seeing through it now, by mega millions.

 

The pendulum will turn.
