Interesting - every state below is hard core demoquack except for Idaho. Homicides happen with all sorts of tools/weapons.

Yes, a lot of them are guns. NOTE: Maryland has serious degree of gun control. The hardcore demoquack states do.

It's mental illness. It's criminal violent behavior. etc etc.

https://www.criminalattorneycolumbus.com/which-weapons-are-most-commonly-used-for-homicides/

Using the 2019 Crime in the United States data, we also created a state-by-state breakdown of the percentage of murders using each weapon. For each type of weapon, we also tallied the ten states where it was used in the highest percentage of homicides.

Which states were found to use each type of weapon the most in homicides?

  • Maryland was found to have the highest percentage of homicides using handguns at 75.1%.
  • Vermont was found to have the highest percentage of homicides using rifles at 18.18%.
  • Maine was found to have the highest percentage of homicides using shotguns at 15%.
  • Delaware was found to have the highest percentage of homicides using unknown types of firearms at 56.3%.
  • Rhode Island was found to have the highest percentage of homicides using knives or cutting instruments at 28%.
  • Idaho was found to have the highest percentage of homicides using other weapons at 37.1%.
  • Vermont was found to have the highest percentage of homicides using hands, fists, feet, etc. at 18.2%.

Not sure if it's the deranged media you consume, or just dementia in your old age, but you're getting dumber. And you were already pretty stupid.

How to axe violence numbers compare to gun violence numbers in this country Cal? Look that one up and get back to me.

Looking at the scope of gun violence across the United States of America and noticing the tunnel vision focus on assault style weapons one would be led to believe that those who profit politically from that fight don't really care much about the 90 something % of the rest of the gun deaths.

Placing one of their most loyal voting blocks in a bad light doesn't do them any political favors.

If you want to kill somebody, and you don’t happen to have a gun handy….you will find an alternative.

Have a nice day.

It doesn't make sense. axe violence numbers? you want to get violent with those numbers but you are "against violence"

again, you miss every single point ever put to you. So, it's the numbers? liar. Schmucks like you are a mjaor reason why problems don't get solutions. Your fake hostile "solutions" are all leftwing hater political.

If you actually cared about these hideous school shootings, you would actually talk about the real reasons - look at mental illness, prescription drugs that treat those mental illnesses, and destructive social media/video game violence affects etc.

but you don't.

faker.

If you bring up video games as the cause for school shootings you've outee yourself as a complete moron that believes whatever bullshit he's fed. You've revoked any right to give your opinion at that point. We have more guns than ever, they're easier to get than ever, but the problem is video games... that every child plays. Fucking idiot.

And yes, better mental healthcare would be fantastic. Better healthcare, and more accessible, would be better for everyone. Maybe we should look into that like every other developed nation? Oh wait, no, we need to spend more money on defense then the next 10 countries combined... Smh

outee? you are arrogantly changing the subject to bellybuttons>?

really? lol.

You run your fat beak with stupid, unsupportable assertions. It apparently makes you feel like big bird again, but it keeps wearing off.,

I included violent video games for good reason:

https://parentingscience.com/violent-video-games/

Researchers haven’t performed identical experiments on kids, so we don’t know if they would blast strangers with distressingly loud noises. But in one study, boys who had been assigned to play a violent video game behaved differently afterwards. During a free play session, they were rated by their peers as more aggressive. The same game experience did not appear to affect peer ratings of the behavior of girls (Polman et al 2008).

In another study, researchers randomly assigned some kids to play a violent video game, and other kids to play a nonviolent game in which player takes on the role of a family helper. Immediately after playing their video games, kids were given the opportunity to help or hinder a peer from earning money. Kids who’d just played the helping game chose to be helpful. Kids who’d just played the violent video game made choices that were more antagonistic (Saleem et al 2012).

better healthcare? maybe more and more psychiatrists to give mentally disturbed kids

psycho drugs?

read on, but otoh, you won't, because behind all you beaking off, you are just an ignorant coward.

At least 38 school shootings and/or school-related acts of violence have been committed by those taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs resulting in 183 wounded and 83 killed (in other school shootings, information about their drug use was never made public—neither confirming or refuting if they were under the influence of prescribed ...

and before you and your cowardly nanny cry about the sources:

Some 90 percent of school shootings over more than a decade have been linked to a widely prescribed type of antidepressant called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors or SSRIs, according to British psychiatrist Dr. David Healy, a founder of RxISK.org, an independent website for researching and reporting on prescription drugs.
At least 38 acts of school-related acts of violence, including mass school shootings, have been committed by individuals taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs documented in 27 drug regulatory agency warnings to cause mania, psychosis, hostility, aggression, and homicidal ideation.
