dencyguy
To piggyback on Solon's point on another thread, Washington did what Tennessee couldn't--get quality play from their QB on a day where the defense kept a much better team close. Texas now clearly has the inside track on the non-Florida spot in the national championship game, but if they should slip up, this gives Ohio State another shot--unlike the voters, the computer isn't going to get hung up on head-to-head when one team loses to #3 and another loses to an unranked opponent. A great, team-making win for the Huskies, who needed a big win more than any other rebuilding team in the country. Dennis Now Cal needs to carry on the tradition of PAC 10 #2s and figure out a way to screw up their opening.
Legacy Fan
I always hate the week following a USC loss. I love that they lose, but we are treated to a week of "USC loss implication scenarios" from every analyst within arm's length of a laptop. Vomit. That said. Good job Wash on the W. Hopefully they can keep a momentum surge when they come to South Bend in 2 weeks and make it a game too. (Hoping the Irish show up).
Solon16
I really think Locher is going to be a superstar in the NFL....just my two cents.

Ahem...bump...not to brag or anything...it's pretty much just like saying that I think the sun will come up somewhere in the east tomorrow.
