PackerNation Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 The Jets have to have another coach in mind. Won't make the move until the season is over. I don't think A-Rod was involved in this decision. Aaron is not the dude people think he is. When Mike McCarthy got fired in Green Bay during the season, I know for a fact Aaron was not involved. Jeff Ulbrich interim head coach. Quote
PackerNation Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 Belichick first name that pops up that the Jets are eyeing. Quote

nickers Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 I don't want to slam on Salah because as a DC I think he's pretty good (He did pretty well in SF)... HC mat'l?... No... But in all fairness... He never really had a chance.. But he can still grow and improve from this... He's a nice guy... But nice to me does not equate to discipline... Quote

Ibleedbrown Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 If you’re a fan of Robert Saleh, does that make you a Saleher? Quote
PackerNation Posted October 8 Report Posted October 8 1 hour ago, nickers said: Pretty much... Pettine like... Just different personalities... Pettine was an epically horrible DC. Saleh was one of the best DC's in the league. Pettine is a douche canoe and Saleh is a high quality individual. Not alike really in any way. Fun facts: Saleh was best man in Matt LaFleur's wedding. McVay, Saleh, LaFleur, and Shanahan are all very close friends. Saleh could get DC job tomorrow. Mike Pettine wants to be a DC or a Head Coach again, but no one will ever hire him for those jobs because he was horrendous at both. 2 Quote

PackerNation Posted October 9 Report Posted October 9 Kyle Shanahan pretty much said it's a bunch of bullshit that his good friend Robert Saleh got fired. Quote
Marvin the Martian Posted October 9 Report Posted October 9 Maybe we should hire him. Can he be any worse than our current coach? Quote
Ibleedbrown Posted October 9 Report Posted October 9 I’m still a fan of Stefanski. 40 minutes ago, Marvin the Martian said: Maybe we should hire him. Can he be any worse than our current coach? PackerNation Posted October 9 Report Posted October 9 I think we all lean towards Robert Saleh not deserving to be fired. I feel for his wife and children. It is wrong when good people get fucked over. I still don't think Aaron was involved in any way in the firing. This catastrophe is all on Woody Johnson. Since Woody purchased the team in 2000, it's been one shit show after another. The Jets were a disaster long before Robert Saleh and Aaron Rodgers got there. I will be interested to hear what Aaron has to say about this on McAfee today. Quote

I think some of you are misdirecting your animosity. There's a good amount of people on here who obsess over Watson. Everything wrong about this team is because of him, in their eyes. It's not this black and white. Watson might be the poster boy for the Browns horrible start, and the general state they find themselves in today and in the future, but the Browns issues go way beyond Watson. This is a systemic breakdown of practically the whole team. I'll be shocked if Berry and Stefanski survive this season. Quote

AR is no angel. Both Aaron and Saleh explained fully that your "pushing away" was nothing. Aaron being frustrated with himself and throwing a towel over his head after 3 picks, has nothing to do with anything. Neither Saleh or Aaron are to blame for this. A good man and coach got fired by an idiot in Woody Johnson. Quote
Kvoethe Posted October 10 Report Posted October 10 Get rid of shitpanski... The jets are 2 and 3 and made the move... We would give a 10yr extension for 2 and 3 Quote

If Watson was playing better and the Oline was healthy we wouldn't be hearing the calls about Stef and Co. Problem is, it's easy to just blame the head coach and move on from there. The biggest issues, priority wise, that affect this team start at the personnel level first. Both on the field and the machine behind who is on the field - Berry. Quote

I think he's a good head coach. But it's almost baffling how disorganized this team has been this season. This is the fifth season under Stefanski, but you'd never know it. This team has made so many unforced errors, a sign of an undisciplined team. So many 12 Men On The FIeld penalties, illegal procedures, illegal formations, etc. It's been an open secret around here that people who covered the team said the atmosphere at training camp was very laid-back this year. Phrases like "there seemed to be zero sense of urgency". But yes, the OLine disintegration has been a huge problem too. I will not discount that. Quote
