Orion
Winston is a good man. As he says, you can tell that he was raised well. That being said, we now need a new QB. And it can't be Winston...though he could certainly be a backup and / or a consultant.
tiamat63
I have no problem with Winston. That said, the tone, inflection, verbiage... All of it reeks in a similar smell of prosperity gospel preachers.
jrb12711
Just looking as a fan, I understand rationally every major thing that came out of Watson going down. I truly believe people cheering were, at its core, because it meant they didn't have to watch that bum play football anymore. The absolute pent up frustration of EVERYTHING surrounding that dude was let out by some in that moment. I'm not going to say it's right or wrong, I just understand the "why". With almost the same thought I can understand why Myles and Winston said what they said. It's not really worth reading into more than what it is- clubhouse leaders defending their dude. That's a code as old as time in the NFL, so while I didn't care for what they said I understand why they did that as well. With all that mind- I'd much prefer Winston gets a few weeks to show what he can do. I've seen enough of DTR to feel like he ain't the dude, so why not see if famous Jameis can have a Geno Smith esque turnaround? Unlikely, sure but I'm not thrilled about the QB prospects of 2025. As far as DeFraud goes... You reap what you sow... Karma is a bitch... He was paid $230 mill to produce miracles and he hasn't produced jack shit.... I don't feel one bit sorry for DeFraud.. He's gonna make out better than any of us ever will.. So excuse me for not feeling sorry for his stupid ass...
Jax
Should correct Winston. DW abused women, is playing for the cash not the city and his life isn't on the line it's just football and qb is a protected class these days. However, maybe most people weren't cheering that he got hurt, just that he was leaving the game, that's possible and more likely whether anyone realizes it or not.
D Bone
Again, somewhere Jimmy and Dee saw their boy go down and now they both know they have to keep those automatic payroll deposits flowing even though he's played his last snap as a Cleveland Brown. ..... half full as they say

JJmac28
I was at the game, I am never happy for anyone getting injured, however was happy that we have seen the last of him this year. Whether Stefanski had the option to pull him or not I'm glad he no longer has to make that decision. Unfortunately, we will be in the same spot next year when Watson heals up, because I don't see us releasing him. Lets try and get something positive going the rest of the year now!! Dutch Oven
I’m sure the offense will start rolling now that the only reason it stunk so far has been removed from the equation.
D Bone
Most fans are fully aware that the team has massive issues and bringing in Fran Tarmontana himself is not going to make much of a difference on the scoreboard. However it will be easier to stomach the imminent shit show with a guy under center that the average human doesn't find repulsive. I do think the offense will play a little better with Jameis but much like putting gravy on a pile of shit, it still won't taste good. PackerNation
What Jameis is getting at is that this is one of your own. No matter if you think he sucks or if you feel he is a horrible person, he is a Brown until he is not. The man was laying on the turf and you did not know how severe the injury was or if he was even breathing. And you chose to cheer. You can say whatever you want about me. If hearing the truth upsets you, so be it. I don't give a fuck what your failure at life selves think of me. When even LeBron James is calling you out as pathetic, lame, and disgusting, then you know it's real. You can't handle that. LeBron knows Cleveland better than anyone. No non-desperate free agent will ever want to come to Cleveland again. You clowns are affecting all Cleveland sports, not just the Browns. I am sure your families are proud.
