John Kelly was Cheeto's COS for 2 years. Retired a highly decorated Marine general and also was the Sec of Homeland.

More from the interview.

Kelly has also said that Trump has “no idea what America stands for and has no idea what America is all about” and has “nothing but contempt for our democratic institutions, our Constitution, and the rule of law.”

What’s more, Kelly told the New York Times in 2022 that Trump, during his presidency, told his chief of staff to use the Internal Revenue Service and the Justice Department to target critics and perceived political foes.

Cheetos sure does like fascists.

“Certainly, a big surprise for him, again, was if you remember at the beginning of the administration, he would talk about ‘his generals,’” Mr. Kelly said. “I don’t know why he thought that — but then a very big surprise for him was that we were — those of us who were former generals and certainly people still on active duty — that the commitment, the loyalty was to the Constitution, without question, without second thought.”

Mr. Kelly added: “That was a big surprise to him that the generals were not loyal to the boss, in this case him.”

Is It Fascism? A Leading Historian Changes His Mind. - The New York Times

Paxton, who is 92, is one of the foremost American experts on fascism and perhaps the greatest living American scholar of mid-20th-century European history. His 1972 book, “Vichy France: Old Guard and New Order, 1940-1944,” traced the internal political forces that led the French to collaborate with their Nazi occupiers and compelled France to reckon fully with its wartime past.

In a column that appeared online on Jan. 11, 2021, Paxton wrote that the invasion of the Capitol “removes my objection to the fascist label.” Trump’s “open encouragement of civic violence to overturn an election crosses a red line,” he went on. “The label now seems not just acceptable but necessary.”

Until then, most scholars arguing in favor of the fascism label were not specialists. Paxton was.

“It’s bubbling up from below in very worrisome ways, and that’s very much like the original fascisms,” Paxton said. “It’s the real thing. It really is.”

Not sure why you whiny bitches brag about hiding in your safe place. We know, we know. You can't take people showing what a POS your cult leader is. It hurts your feelings and then you spend the day crying in the corner. We get it. 👍

A former Marina General that knows Cheetos better than all of his cult members. Told you losers that Cheetos is a fascist, and you laugh it off. I guess you already know it and are glad.

Retired Gen. Mark A. Milley warned that former president Donald Trump is a “fascist to the core” and “the most dangerous person to this country” in new comments voicing his mounting alarm at the prospect of the Republican nominee’s election to another term, according to a forthcoming book by Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward.

John Bolton Says Trump Isn't A Fascist, But It's All Part Of A Snarky Insult | HuffPost Latest News

“I think it’s a mistake to get into a controversy over whether Trump meets the definition of fascist or not,” he told the news network’s Kaitlan Collins. “I think his behavior alone is troubling enough. To be a fascist, you have to have a philosophy. Trump’s not capable of that. You know, Adolf Hitler wrote a profoundly troubling book called ‘Mein Kampf’ – ‘My Struggle.’ Donald Trump couldn’t even read his way all the way through that book, let alone write something like it.”

“I’m not trying to understate the dangers of a Trump presidency,” he continued. “I think it’s important to focus on the dangers themselves.”
