There is a lot of debate and conspiracy theories about Fluoride and what the gov't is doing to us.

Fluoride is heavily regulated and monitored from public drinking water supplies. There is a low dose that gets added to water and fluoride is tested on the back end as well as being monitored hourly for proper feed rates. I believe it's 35 pounds of fluoride/million gallons of water. Exact dose depending on water source being treated.

Fluoride already exists naturally in our water at varying levels per the water source.

Do you trust the studies that says fluoride at the right amount(which is monitored accurately) is safe and needed to help prevent tooth decay?

Or do you tend to believe or at least wonder if the other studies that says it's more of a health risk and does nothing to prevent tooth decay?

Right now until compelling evidence comes out, I favor the addition of fluoride in drinking water.

I know a lot of older people that drank city fluoride water and lived to a nice healthy old age.

It’s a good topic to discuss. We’ve been putting fluoride in our water for a long time. I remember being a kid when l first learned that was a thing, and it seemed like such a positive thing back then.

Then years later l found out there’s an anti-fluoride crowd, and that was a surprise. If there are adverse health benefits it seems clear to me that they’re not obvious.

But l do find the anti-fluoride crowd spins my wheels a little bit. My last couple dental cleanings l declined the fluoride treatment, in part because it costs extra, and the other part is because l wonder if it’s really all that good for you in the first place.

I figure it’s like most things that are over my head and l’ll settle on relying on people smarter than myself to crack the code on it.

I installed a high end water ionizer in both of our houses.. They were a total PIA to install but as someone that worked with and tested water for yrs I can tell you that you do NOT want to drink unfiltered city or county water.. Water is this most important thing you ingest so spending $2500+ on our systems was a no brainer.  Fluoride? Not a fan..

I’m curious if you were doing this water testing in Florida? I get the impression tap water in Florida is a little trickier to manage than other parts of the country, maybe due to the high water table?

I know the last time l was there (St. Aug area) l visited a Publix grocery store and l noticed you guys import ice from Home City Ice, a well known Cincinnati based company with a reputation for making clean ice, so it’s apparently cheaper for you to import ice from Cincy than it is to make your own. Just an observation l thought was interesting.

Some things never make sense.
