"Wore my classic MAGA hat to happy hour last night. These two gay guys who are always there but never speak to me said, “oh no you didn’t vote for him.” ME: “I did, why wouldn’t I?” THEM: “Didn’t you read Project 2025?” ME: “Why would I? Nobody was ever talking about it but Kamala and the lying democrats. Trump said right off the bat that it wasn’t his agenda.” THEM: “And you believed him?” ME: “Absolutely, because he was president before. What rights did he take from me?” Quiet. THEM: “Well as a black man you should be concerned that he’s empowering white supremacists.” ME: “Really? So where are they then? I’m 63 and the only hatred or discrimination I’ve ever seen came from democrats. But they were white democrats like you. Is that what you mean?” THEY WALKED AWAY".
