For the members who wait to react to an act of violence until they find out if the shooter is white and/or Christian, the guy who recently  struck a blow for the people by gunning down a CEO is an Ivy League  educated engineer.

And I'm not sure you realize your first part of that post is calling out certain people you probably weren't intending to call out ...

 

 

We'll see what happens, but wouldn't be a shocker to see a progressive be behind the assassination of a healthcare CEO as a public statement on our fucked up health care system and ever increasing wealth gap. 

A conservative wouldn't ever do it. They're too busy sitting there with their mouths open waiting for the trickle down to hit their rural little town. And if it doesn't, must be the immigrants fault. 

Though this guy seems like he may have been from a faulty affluent upbringing. Will be interesting to see what else comes out.  

All in all not surprised to see shit like this spill over though. Probably not the end.

I'm even more disappointed in Neil DeGrasse Tyson.. He's become everything Carl Sagan stood against.. A carpet bagging media darling charlatan who spews the liberal agenda.. I love listening to DeGrasse Tyson speak on astrophysics, very smart and eloquent, but when it comes to social issues he’s a complete moron.

Him trying to so eloquently rationalize how there is a place for trans in women’s sports. Dear lord in heaven.

What really had me taken aback was when Tyson defended Kyrie Irving’s comment stating that he believed the earth was flat.

He defended Kyrie flat earth comment in order to suppress the “low IQ black athlete” stereotype.

Yes, I never questioned his ability to speak or engage... And he's quite intelligent.. But , He's become a traveling circus.. As to where Sagan would do a spot on Johnny Carson , Merv Griffin once every couple of years... who would have other intellectuals like Durk Pearson for example... They got their message out and it wasn't a media clown show...

Oh, you're just trolling. I should have expected that. Here I thought you were maybe driving towards a point or something. Dumb of me for expecting that much of you. 

I have never said Michigan is the best engineering school. Not by rankings. But I chose to go there over other higher ranked schools because of everything it offered. Oh well. It seems to have worked out just fine.

Read up on it. From reputable sources. I'm completely over shutting down every single climate skeptic bs nonsense that's posted on here for it to go in one ear and out the other. Y'all are just lost causes and the best we can hope for is to limit your impact

The funniest thing about this is that before we knew who he was, right wing personalities were painting everyone who showed sympathy for the murderer as a loony communist. As it turns out, the alleged killer appears to be a right wing chud and has fans on both sides.

Protip, avoid back surgery for as long as you can. I see failed back syndrome all the time, and I'm honestly surprised more people with it don't go off the deep end like he did. There's literally not much that modern medicine can do for these people, and the only solace I have for most of them is that they're in their 60s, 70s, 80s and they don't have too much longer to suffer through it. Cannot imagine having to deal with that in your 20s and knowing that the next 50 years would look like that.

My uncle had severe back problems and had surgery.  He was I think addicted to pain pills for the last years of his life.
