Legacy Fan
Dallas just marched down the field on Car using misdirection and a little imagination with their play calling. It sure wasn't super dominant blocking. Julius Peppars was in their backfield on 2/3rds of the plays. Can we please send Daboll packing?
Kosar_For_President
Or you can keep playing a guy that chops their feet over and over again thinking you are going to go somewhere and run into the back of your blocker, like a Retard playing rugby. Mr. T
A big + would be to have 2 stud Tackles and a couple of guards who can move their a$$es out on blocks.

sisky fringo
if anything, MNF tonight helped put the QB position into perspective. #1 everyone throws picks. #2 you take much less risks when you're ahead=less picks. if the QB position was easy the league wouldn't currently have a 39.9 year old as one of the best in the game right now. i even thought Leftwich was still a serviceable guy coming into this year. face it, great QB's are few and far between in today's NFL. DB's are better than they have ever been. but there's a huge difference between guys with the tools and skillset who make typical mistakes and guys without the tools necessary to play the game without a 5 yard cushion between their receiver and the defense. translated: the margin of error in the NFL requires you to thread the needle constantly and if you and your WR aren't on the same page bad things often happen. and if you flat out miss reads or miss your window consistently you don't have a shot in hell for success. to make it Browns related DA is impetuous and at times windows close after the ball is already in the air=hold your breath time. this style requires he and his receivers to read each other's thoughts pretty much. like Rice and Montana/Young. Quinn seems to have a lot of trouble seeing plays develop until the window is almost closed and he settles for the dump off instead. he leaves a ton of plays on the field because of it. now, you can reel one in but the other can't compensate with arm strength so he'll need to learn to read the field much better if he wants to have any shot at the pro game. I was pretty jealous of some of that play calling, but 2 fades when you're on the 1 yard line?????................? Daboll needs something good to happen soon or I'm going to have to jump on the "Fire Daboll!" boat

You gotta be kidding mangini obviously approved of that no yards offensive scheme they forced BQ into they both need to be sent packing and lerner needs to feel some heavy heat from the media and fans to sell the team...his frugal nice guy team prototype does not match the passion or the fury of the city ,football tradition or fans.... Give mangini time and he will throw daboll under the bus as well as he seeks to keep his own job...unfortunately mangini is the scumball we were warned about and he wishes he were smart but he is still a ball boy at heart with a power grab mentality...the sooner he is replaced the sooner things will get on track he is a total waste of time ,indecisive and a waffler his brand of coaching is boring ,unstable andsubject to change on a whim he has no gameplan and his diciplinary measures off the field are only working to make the team dislike him and have nothing to do with on the field discipline which is sorely lacking from mangini himself this idiot cant even follow his own code and lead by example how does he expect anyone players or fans alike to drink his fool-aid.. Heres to the browns quitting on mangini and hastening his demise...cheers!
Legacy Fan
but 2 fades when you're on the 1 yard line?????................? Yeah, Jason Garrett had a little bit of the Eric Mangenious syndrome (and so does everybody else who's come out of the Parcells/Belichoke tree): They're too smart for their own good, and think they can out-smart the other team too often rather than try and out-football the other team. Tuna & Choke are smart guys, and everybody under them has been also, but if you start hearing everyone on ESPN say how smart you are, you start to believe them. The difference between Tuna & Choke and the rest of the get-along-gang is that T&C still "out-football" the other team.

lemosley01
I liked the playcalling in the series leading to the second touchdown. I look at this and go 'how hard can it be'? If you can't design your own plays, they are there for the picking from the other 31 teams week in and week out.
