hoorta
you also forget he barely played any games and was injured the rest of the year, so why don't you go and look at 2007? We did, if you had been paying attention, Anderson padded his stats against the weak sisters of the NFL. Had bulletproof protection in those games. Kyle freaking Orton tore the Browns apart this year, given the same luxury. One great win on MNF against the Giants does not make DA even average. Let's look at it another way- you think Tom Brady would have been the 32nd ranked passer in the NFL if he had been playing for the '08 Browns? I seriously doubt it. Greythan
Nice long post D&S, but the fact remains: DA's play had been lousy since about, what 2/3 or 3/4 of the way through 2007? A plethora of excuses can be compiled (such as the list you've provided time and again) but its a bottom line league (ask Quinn). Let's also not forget that DA failed to beat out the now maligned Quinn in the preseason. So, he had to be pretty "lousy" in camp as well. Oh well, getting close to Sunday so time to put critiques aside and get ready to whoop some Bengal butt.
