Neither are Jon Gruden, Tony Dungy, Mike Holmgren, Vince Lombardi, Tom Landry, Bear Bryant, Joe Paterno, Walter Camp or John Heisman. Lerner's got stats that show the best coaches are the ones who were fired before... and of course he'll move swiftly to lock Zorn up before someone else grabs such a hot commodity. Then I expect he'll let Zorn pick the GM for the team - because why WOULDN'T you want a previously fired coach who no one else wants determine who should be the GM? Seriously you guys are being a bit hard on Mangini - sure he's an a-hole who can't be trusted to stand by his word that he'd stand by the winner of the QB competition and comes up with draconian fines... but how the hell do you expect him to field a competitive team when players are walking out of hotel with $3 water bottles?
