Comparing LaDanian Tomlinson and Jamal Lewis

These were two stellar RB's in their prime, both have reached they 30s mark and both are still the biggest back in their respective teams. So while LT still gets the love and respect from fans why does Jamal Lewis get so much hatred ?

As we can see for two 30+ RB's they both have very similar numbers. The difference lies in the fact that one RB is playing in a conference that has 2 popcorn teams in their division (Kansas / Oakland ) and plays for a team that has consistent coaching and less controversies while the other plays for a team that plays in one the toughest division and is smack in the middle of just about anything that can go wrong with a team.

So, do guys still think that Jamal Lewis is over and done for ? dont you think that he still has some gas left in his tank ?

Because JL does not show the same drive as he used to. He plays not to get hurt so he can collect every check.

We should of never given him a contract for more than 1 year

He does not play like he used to and that is for sure, but is it a result of old age getting to him or him just trying to play it safe and being there for the team ... he still is the only big back we have whom we can count on for short yard gain. He needs some big back to complement him.
