Instead of a socialist anti-capitalism takeover, the Obamao admin needs to start just listening, and FIXING problems, instead of using problems as excuses for trying implement a new anti-American ideology.

[/size]Boehner: GOP offering the right health care ideas</H1>ap_logo_106.png

By WILL LESTER, Associated Press Writer Will Lester, Associated Press Writer – 52 mins agoWASHINGTON – Republicans have the answers to lower health costs and expanded coverage, not the Democrats hold power in Washington and are creating more problems as they "recklessly pursue" a government takeover of the health care system, a GOP leader said.

The top House Republican, Rep. John Boehner of Ohio, outlined his party's alternative in the GOP's weekly radio and Internet address Saturday. Democratic proposals are gaining momentum in Congress and Republicans are scrambling for support to try to block them.

Taking aim at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's plan, Boehner said it would put Washington in charge of health care decisions, add to the bureaucracy, raise premiums and cut Medicare benefits.

"Enough is enough. Breaking the bank and taking away the freedoms Americans cherish is not the answer to the challenges we face," Boehner said.

Debate could begin this coming week on legislation developed by House Democrats that extends coverage to 96 percent of Americans, imposes new requirements on individuals and employers to get insurance and provides subsidies for lower-income people. The bill rolled out Thursday includes a new public insurance plan that would pay providers and hospitals at rates negotiated by the health and human services secretary.

The Democratic-controlled Senate is expected to begin debate within two weeks on a bill crafted by Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.

Boehner said there is a choice to be made: "We can come together to implement smart, fiscally responsible reforms to improve Americans' health care or we can recklessly pursue this government takeover that creates far more problems than it solves."

Boehner said a number of steps could be taken, such as letting people buy health insurance across state lines, allowing people and organizations to pool together to buy insurance for lower prices and reining in malpractice lawsuits.

The left doesn't want logical compromise they just want enough republican votes so they can share the blame when this scheme turns out worse that it's been.

It seems as though it will be a bad deal for everyone as it stands.

Then again we know little thanks to the failure of "transparency."

This is what we do know and I have yet to really here it being talked about in whole on any National 24hour News network,

Premiums to Skyrocket Under Obamacare Here

Obama Taxes Pacemakers, Heart Valves HERE

The vengeful White House will have its pound of flesh from the medical device industry for daring to be independent and to refuse to knuckle down to Administration pressure.

This tax, imposed in a spirit of haughty arrogance, falls on totally inappropriate objects. Valves, prosthetic limbs, pacemakers, hearing aids, and such are essential therapies that make life longer, better, and less painful. To tax them makes no sense — except in the world of sharp elbows and interest-group politics that grips this take-no-prisoners and show-no-mercy White House.

The cbo has calculated that only 6 or 9 million? whichever it was, will sign up for gov health care.

That's about 2% of most adults they want to cover.

This whole hc thing, and capntax, is a politically designed maneuver for power, Chavez-style.

Whats so funny is that Not One Person who votes in favor of this HealthCare Bill will allow any member of their family to sign onto it.

They know its bogus HC and has limits to what is allowed to be spent.

old saying....... let them eat cake.

The Peelosi hc care bill is just a gov takeover of another 18% of the American economy. They've already taken over 30%.

Well, maybe capntax would skyrocket that number.

These are radical/leftist power seekers who dream of being Chavez's.

Hey, they are angry Selaya wasn't allowed to do what Chavez did.

That not send a message to anybody?

That is what they BELIEVE in. Communists and socialist and radicals all around Obama's staff.

Obama lied well to get into office. But now, the ugly tree shows beneath where there used to be tree bark.

But, it peeled off.

The tree was flooded by the waters of scrutiny by the American people, many who voted for him.

Realtiy bites when a liar gets found out to be a socialist wolf in sheep's clothing, albeit too late, eh?

Here recently I have received letters from 2 different senators here from NC two months ago both stated they were not in favor of a big government health care takeover, but in the past week I received two different letters one the Semator richard Burr of NC states that they have been sgut out of almost all meetings anf that there are two different bills being merged together and nobody knows what is in them as we he writes. he disagrees with the reid plan and the Pelosi plan.

On the other hand I get a letter from Senatoree Kay Hagan who does a complete reversal stating how we need to follow the presidents lead and he knows what is best for all of america and since he feels so strongly that we need to reform Healt Care we should except this plan, then she would throw out some bogus numbers telling me that in 5 years I would be paying 5 times the amount for HC if this dosn't pass. (wow that would be almost 5,000 a month) well, she can call me when they spot the NC Yetti Monster. BS! at its best.

But to top it off she says well I know how concerned you are over the cap & trade bill and once again our President feels we need to take the lead and pass this because we need to save some xxxxing sea turtle or dafadill or some shit like that.

So do you want to know what my reply was?

You can only guess. the short form is I wont Vote for You ever! along with scolding her for not being a representative of NC and telling her the defintion of what a representative government is.

 that reminds me I have to go Vote on tuesday.

Oh, there are a lot of folks who will be making CERTAIN they get involved to find out what's going on,

and are going to VOTE.

Some of them are a few close friends who voted... for Obama, and are now disgusted and angry.

Mark well what I said long ago - the pendulum swings back and forth, one direction and then another,

because Americans keep adjusting the U.S. Freedom's ship's course to keep it going where we want to go.

And stopping over in Cuba is NOT on the intinerary.

Yes, the Republicans are offering the right health care ideas.

Their plan, to no one's surprise, does basically nothing for the uninsured:

"An analysis by the Congressional Budget Office has found that the Republicans' proposed healthcare overhaul would cover just 3 million Americans by 2019, and leave 52 million Americans uninsured -- effectively covering just 5 percent of those who would otherwise be uninsured.

That means 95 percent of those who are uninsured will still be without coverage in 2019."

But please, continue lecturing about the need for tort reform and the ability to buy policies across state lines. Vital ideas. Just vital.

Fair enough Heck.

So answer us please.

So how many of the 30 million (revised for Obamas speech to eliminate the illegals) will be covered?

And by what? Public option? Private company?

We assume that the public option won't be free correct?

If not then about how much would the average guy pay?

What price would be too high (in your opinion) for those who claim they can't afford premiums?

Lets say they make north of 36K, the average in Ohio I think.

$100 a month? $300 a month? $500?

For those who don't get it from work how much will they pay?

Will it be more or less than the non participation tax? (is that around $1700 for the individual?)

If it's more will they be obligated to buy in?

How much do you expect premiums for responsible workers to rise when every illness is covered?

How much worse will Medicare treatment be when $500 billion is slashed?

Today a decent secondary plan is over $400.

And how much more insane will the trial lawyers profits be when many diagnostic procedures are eliminated in a cost cutting spree?

I realize you want this bill passed, no matter what's in it, but since you sneer at everyone else how about you provide some insight from your private stash?

I forget the number right now, but I found it ironic that a fair amount of the cost is supposed to be mitigated by the penalty money from people who do not obtain insurance.

So...........is the idea to insure ALL of them, or is it really to insure PART of them, with the balance being used to fund part of the costs. And then, what happens when THEY get sick? No insurance, no aid???

Is it 45% to be raised by fines?

Yep.

So if coverage would cost, say, $175 a month the penalty is cheaper.

And a good small to medium business plan (I hear) should be in the ballpark of $300.

I prefer to force those people to spend the 1700 on a catastrophic plan.

That eliminates the tears being shed over those being bankrupted by medical bills.

And the huge costs of their unpaid treatment.

What I find incredible, is that even Peelosi's 1900 page plan does nothing to get insurance to ALL those currently don't have it,

and millions of Americans who do have it, will LOSE it,

and that plan does NOTHING to solve the restrictions of states to only buy insurance from their own state.

Say, I thought they wanted competition. NO, THEY DON'T.

The new plan provides required funding for abortion on demand, and ELIMINATES

current med insurance providers in the future.

Well, 45% of the doctors say they will quit.

The bill won't get passed in anywhere near it's current state. It's a freakin disaster of dangerous proportions.

Even the blue dog Dems are rejecting it flat out. Obamao and Peelosi and co. are splitting our country into pieces,

but I worry most about this treaty that the UN is getting ready. If Obamao signs it, our rights via our Constitution/Bill of Rights

will allegedly be superceded by an international climate court.

I think I'll buy two handguns. Doggone gunsmith, young guy, was talking to me about buying a .45 instead of a 9mm. I don't know....

that seems a bit overkill, pun intended...

Someone needs to be a dickhead to all of these spineless pussies who are sucking the kneecaps of obammy.

So this makes Boehner a man among spineless men.

I was joking. Boe - ner is a dick head. Boe - ner is a stand up guy. Calm down man (spoken like Jay Petermen)
