Well Lum, now that the DA ship has sailed, I found another Browns player for you to cheer for.

He went to ORE ST

gee I wondered what college he went to icon_rolleyes.gif

btw, Buffalo linebacker Keith Ellison went to Oregon State too. Here's to Quinn avoiding any sacks from former DA teammates.

You wonder? Jesus dude, so you can't use google and you can't read. It says right in my post what school he went to. So the sarcasm and eye roll doesn't exactly fit, now does it? icon_rolleyes.gif

I like Lawson and think he could be a very good kick returner. he was a solid DB in college and he could develop into a rotational player eventually.

No he wasn't that great of a DB in college, but he was a hell of a ST player. He ran one back against Hawaii that was huge when the Beavs beat Colt Brennan at Honolulu.

Are you that doof from Tucson who claimed to be a beat writer for the softball team?

Very early in the preseason, there was a thread about which under the radar players surprised us the most. Most of us were clamoring over Alex Hall, others over Kevin Kasper or Shaun Rogers. Lumberg's guy was Gerard Lawson from Oregon State. I believe that was after our 2nd/3rd/4th string secondary got torched in the first preseason game.

If there was ever anything that proved his bias toward Oregon State players, that was it. In fact, I remember being amazed that he would be so bold as to pick another Oregon State player and completely destroy the any legitimacy of his DA campaigns. But now that I think about it, it wasn't boldness, it was stupidity.

I said Lawson was "solid" in college which someone on your level might get confused with "great". There was nothing great about Lawson's defense on the collegiate level.

BTW, aren't you that doof that is using the same arguments to bash Brady Quinn that you shot down when people used them against Anderson?

Just saying.....
