MudratDetector Posted December 2, 2009 Report Share Posted December 2, 2009 first of all, i'm a longtime lurker and first time poster. anyhow, 12/27 is my brothers birthday. we went to the browns/bengals 12/21 game last year to celebrate and we're considering hitting up the raiders game for his bday this year. my question: is it actually worth the time, money, and energy to even go? we live at the southern tip of ohio and i don't want to drive 5 hours one-way to see another crappy loss (we went to opening day this year as well). with them playing the raiders, it seems like we actually have a chance for a W. Besides, bad Browns football is always better than No Browns football. Tickets will not be costly either. I wish I felt differently, but we have been playing awful football. Awful isn't even a strong enough word, thank god for that win over buffalo because we would be 0-16 without it. 1-15 at least gets us ignored in ESPN's worst team ever debate. That might have been the coldest I have ever been in my entire life, and I've been on ski trip where the fluid in my eyes felt slushy... I was really thinking that I was going to have to light a fire under my car just to get the engine to turn over so I could get home.... That day sucked.
