bkosar74
The guy at nflstatanalysis.net provides us with another interesting Brees analysis on the NYTimes Fifth Down blog. http://fifthdown.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/12...brees-entwined/ Also interesting stuff on the 20 worst QB performances of the season. Anderson's on there 3 times and Brady's on their once....so, the Browns make up one fifth of the 20 worst QB performances of the season..... http://www.nflstatanalysis.net/2009/12/ten...-of-season.html
Mr. T
I think we just started Projest Charlie Frye, is why we didn't go after him. or maybe it was the fact he is only 6 feet tall. Not sure savage has a mold he goes by.

Besides, Brees was advertised to have to sit out the season after shoulder surgery and we couldn't wait that long to make our Super Bowl run. 4Browns
I doubt Brees would have come here anyway, he had better offers/locations. What I couldn't understand at the time is why we didn't seem to have interest? What did we have in 2005 for QB's, Anderson and Frye? choco
In all honestly Choco, he was pretty successful in Sand Diego. and was passed on for a highly touted rookie. wasn't meant to be disrespectful, but hindsight is always 20/20.... I agree. Actually hindsight in the Browns case is 10/10.

He was passed on for a highly touted rookie. BUT, as the TIMES article states, he didn't have his "breakout" year until after the team drafted rivers.
