THE BROWNS BOARD

It must be nice...

When you are in your biggest divisional foe's stadium, the team who has whooped your ass repeatedly over the past several years, playing a crucial game for the divisional lead because your team is on the uprise and you establish a HUGE lead by half time. Then the second half goes awry and the opponent gains all the momentum, and comes back to try and win the game. Being in that situation, it must be nice for the Jets to have a QB who doesn't completely fold in the second half and hide from the pressure. It must be nice to have a leader to take you to victory. The Jets had that in Brett Favre last night.

And that game was eerily similar to the Browns almost winning in Pittsburgh last year. But the Jets had Brett Favre last night, and we had Derek Anderson last year. That's the difference bewteen a real QB and a fraud who may never step foot on an NFL field again.

Could not agree more; you could also throw in the Cincitucky game with the playoffs on the line

You live by the sword and die by the sword with Favre. But you live by it more than you die.

Sure, he has thrown costly picks in his career. But GB doesn't even get to that title game last year w/o Favre.

But so has just about every QB, including Manning and Brady. Heck the only guy I can really think of that I can't recall seeing doing that in a big game was Montana.
