Well here you go, I will "replace" that with some real basic Browns trivia. Here you go (note, these were as of the beginning of this season): 1. When was the last time the Browns had a 100 yard receiver, a 100 yard rusher, and a 300 yard passer in the same game? 17. Who scored the most Touchdowns in a game for the Browns? 18. Who had the most rushing yards in a game for the Browns? What a prophetic question!! The day I wrote this, and for the previous 48 years the answer was Jim Brown with 237 yards on two occasions. Today, it is changed: Jerome Harrison, December 20, 2009 gained 286 yards in a game. 2. Who had the most passing yards in a game for the Browns? Brian Sipe had 444 yards vs. the Baltimore Colts in 1981 3. Who had the most receptions in a game? Ozzie Newsome 14 catches vs. the Jets in 1984 4. Who had the most receiving yards in a game? Ozzie Newsome in that same game vs. the Jets in 1984, 191 yards 5. Who had the most punt return yards in a game? Eric Metcalf, 166 yards vs. Pittsburgh in 1993 (yes, that famous game) 6. Who had the most kickoff return yards in a game? Another prophetic question. Before yesterday, it was still Josh Cribbs vs. the Ravens in 2007 with 245 yards. Now, as of Dec. 20, 2009, it is still Josh Cribbs with I believe 269 yards vs. KC. 7. Who had the most combined yards in a game? As far as I know, this record is still the same. Before yesterday, Jim Brown had 313 yards in a game vs. the Eagles in 1961. But with his 286 rushing yards, Harrison would have only needed like 28 yards receiving to beat JBs record. I did not hear if he did that. 8. Who had the longest run from scrimmage for the Browns? Bobby Mitchell had a 90 yard run from scrimmage vs. the Redskins in 1959. 9. Who combined for the longest pass/catch for the Browns? Jeff Garcia/Andre Davis, 99 yards in 2004 10. Who had the longest punt? Horace Gillom had a 90 yard punt vs. the Giants in 1954. Yep, 90 yards! 11. Who had the longest punt return? Eric Metcalf, 92 yards vs. the Bengals in 1994. 12. Who had the longest kickoff return? Carl Ward had a 104 yard kickoff return vs. the Redskins in 1967. (I believe one of Cribbs yesterday was for 103 yards) 13. Who had the longest interception return? Who scored the most Touchdowns in a game for the Browns? Dub Jones had 6 TDs in a game vs. The Bears in 1951 18. Who has had the most consecutive starts in a Browns uniform? Doug Dieken, 194 consecutive games started 19. Who had the most pass completions in a game? Tim Couch had 36 completions vs. the Titan in 2002 20. Who had the highest kickoff return average in a season, minimum 12 attempts.? Billy LeFear had a 31.69 yard KO return avg. in 1975. Who had the most pass completions in a game? 20. Who had the highest kickoff return average in a season, minimum 12 attempts.? The obvious guess is Cribbs...I'm not sure though These are all guesses. I liked the Browns before they left (I was only 8 when they left), but I've loved them since they returned so I wouldn't be the best with trivia.
