if we trade him (which we wont) but if we do where would you like to see him traded?

id like to send him to Detroit

reasons:

Bad team probably not going to win a championship in his career

NFC team

Detroit is a horrible place to live

they are barley over the cap and wouldnt be able to give him the contract money we offered

and by the way, he will not get traded, his contract negotiations will get settled probably at mini-camp, training camp time.

Its just the way things work, he's been waiting a while, patiently, playing hard and trying to get it done with his play. When he realized that this is not going to work, he needs to play every card he possibly can to get through to the team.

Making it public, threatening a hold-out, demanding a trade... all that stuff is just the economics of the business to get leverage. And i dont hold it against him, the man wants to get paid and he is doing everything he can to get what he thinks he deserves. He knows he doesn't deserve the 5mil he is trying to get, but he knows he deserves more than the rookie salaray and the 1.4mil that the browns current offer is.

The two are going to meet in the middle at around 2mil-2.5mil probably with some incentives at either the WR/KR/RB position.

They cannot let a leader of the team walk especially with mangini being retained and people are supposed to be buying into the system. It is just out of the question. He will be back, and he will get a reasonable deal, Its just the business part of the game taking over for a while.

too bad his agents probably get HALF...so even if he gets the 2.5M it'll still settle out about the same for him>>> hurting his legacy to make some scum bag agents some $$--oopsie!

Don't bite the hand that feeds you Josh... ;)
