Draft Updates?

Any update on who got the Jet's 2nd and third round picks yet? Now that the Eagles are done we should know. I'm optimistic considering that Lito Shepherd didn't play that much.

Not sure. I think he only played in 11 games, starting 9, so there would have to be a pretty good chance he only qualifies the Eagles for the 3rd rounder, which would be good for us, giving us the 2nd rounder.

What does this mean? I thought we got a 3rd for Braylon, how does Lito factor in?

"...the deal will only kick in if the Jets decide to pay a $10 million option bonus in March 2010... If Sheppard misses considerable time during the season, they would only have to trade a fifth-round draft choice to the Philadelphia Eagles. The conditional 2010 draft choice will be a second-round draft choice if Sheppard plays 85 percent of the season and receives the four-year extension.."

Sheppard's time in New York is basically a one-year tryout.

He had a whole 31 tackles and one pick. And didn't play in 6 games. An over paid injury prone, whiny nickle back.

We will be getting a third round pick as planned.

That third rounder for Braylon could even become a second rounder, should Edwards catch a certain amount of passes, which he didn't. While the number's undisclosed, one would have to imagine it's higher than his career-best 80 catches. And just in the last 8 weeks of the season he caught 22 passes. Not only that he caught 2 TD's in that span and lost 1 Fumble, lol. Just Stuckey alone had 18 catches in that span and didn't play in 2 of those games.

F*ck that pussy Braylon, he sucks and we made out great on that one.

Isn't it funny how Edwards keeps screwing us over even after we trade butter-fingers away?
