It's the best refuge and easy way to connect with like minded people. The alt from both sides are so loud they drown out even respectable, decent minded and worded opinions. You see a touch of it here for example. If this forum was a representation of Browns fans as a whole we'd have some serious issues. Do i have that right? So what would that have entailed......like was it basically a day off without repercussions? Like there would have been no missed assignments or nothin? If you have the time, Dave Rubin over at "The Rubin Report" did a top-notch interview with Dr. Bret Weinstein, the professor at the heart of the controversy about a month ago, when that shit was first starting. They go pretty in-depth about what exactly happened at the university, and Dr. Weinstein's views on it. (Video starts around the 3:00 mark): I've been following this story as it's unfolded since it started about a month ago; it's pretty infuriating to hear how the guy was mistreated by the students, faculty and administrators of Evergreen State University for simply refusing to participate in an event that he deemed racially motivated. Someone came up with the bright idea that this year the day of absence would instead mandate that no white folks COULD show up. I feel for the students there trying to study that have to put up with the dumbass group. Especially this professor. The dude is trying to teach Evolutionary Biology, not Gender Studies or some BS. I like reading comments from those that describe themselves as liberal/left that are calling these people idiots. Important distinction there.
