  1. Lol. OBJ was escorted out of the student section earlier for trying to get the bad to play a song with dirty lyrics. He was having a great time. And we think Baker is the frat boy
  2. Not outrage sir. Analytics 😀. You weigh production and distraction together. I completely agree with your sentiment. For me I don’t think his performance last year was overwhelming. He has a history of nonsense, he has trade value, which could decline, and the Browns need to build a culture of “distraction less continuity”
  3. I work for an elected official so I understand the notion of public service. And just to reiterate, I’m not attempting to argue if he assaulted anyone. What I’m trying to highlight is when you are OBJ, coming off a lackluster season, with a bit of controversy and your team is reorganizing, show some intelligence and restraint. I think Jarvis Landry is a self-absorbed prima Donna but he seemed to enjoy the win quite well without any nonsense. OBJ wasn’t Megatron last year and the Giants sent him packing for a reason. The culture of the Browns organization is a dumpster fire and nonsense like this doesn’t help. Maybe you think he’s good enough for the HC to have to discuss his targets 3 times every presser and these shenanigans are worth 74 catches and 4 TDs. I just don’t share that opinion. He still had trade value.
  4. Now we’re getting somewhere. Maybe get lucky and get a 2nd rounder for him or a 3rd & 5th
  5. Just saw the ass slapping video. Browns released a statement. What a well meaning, composed adult we have in that locker room. Poor OBJ, just misunderstood.
  6. I would say yes if it wasn’t a complete “look at me”. Buying the headphones for the team seemed like a nice gesture but this is a “makin’ rain in the club” kinda moment
  7. Again, this isn’t even arguing if what he did was morally wrong. It’s about OBJ putting the spotlight on himself in a way that is at minimum controversial in a time that the Browns don’t need any controversial headlines. Are we as a fan base so naive to think the Giants cut ties with him even though he’s a team first, fantastic teammate
  8. I’ve posted two links. It was on the crawl for ESPN this morning. Jason Fitz talked about it on first and last and it was a segment on Golic & Wingo. Pretty sure it’s national news now. Try google or Twitter to see the extent
  9. It was unnecessary. In the history of college football championship celebrations this was the first time someone handed out cash to the players postgame in front of a TV crew for all the world to see. I’m guessing this was premeditated. So he contemplated doing this before the moment struck and thought it was a good idea. As his Alma Mater is celebrating one of the biggest wins in their history, OBJ has to get in front of the TV and make a himself part of the narrative.
  10. On the crawl this morning on ESPN and time spent on First & Last and Golic & Wingo. Kevin Stefanski welcome to Cleveland. OBJ always putting “I” ahead of “us”
  11. LSU released a statement today that the cash was real and they are looking into it
  12. I remember when Kyle Shanahan sucked in these forums. Do I think Freddie was a genius, nope. But not sure what coach overcomes a shit OL, inaccurate QB, WRs dropping passes, TEs getting hurt, DL swinging helmets, DBs with bad hamstrings, etc.. I don’t think Freddy was a great leader and that’s on him but again we turn to the same shitty front office and an unproven coach to tell us they got it right this time. Until we fix the personnel issues and get the “me guys” to be “we guys” the Browns won’t be successful
  13. Hell of a football player. Stats are really good despite all the injuries.
  14. As predicted, still a story, smh. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/28490949/joe-burrow-says-browns-odell-beckham-jr-handed-real-cash-lsu-players?platform=amp
  15. From Haslam’s press conference if 30 people say nice things about you, you should be a NFL head coach
  16. It was the normal, neither good nor bad. Haslam’s presser is what shook me. The fact he owns a billion dollar business baffles me. He seems like a dumb version of Jerry Jones and that is saying something
  17. The story and the circus that surrounds him is enough for me.
  18. It’s a bad look that will being negative attention and there is no reason for it except OBJ wants the spotlight on himself at all times. If he was so concerned about their well being, write a check today. Just a “me-first” guy and that will never change
  19. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/odell-beckham-jr-appears-to-hand-out-cash-to-lsu-players-following-national-championship-win/ Before everyone jumps on the, he isn’t doing anything wrong if they go pro wagon. The optics of this are terrible. Add that to the fact his season wasn’t great and he is a complete moron, find him a new home
  20. Hearing that there were stipulations placed on candidates such as giving Haslam the weekly game plan and using analytics in decision making just makes me laugh https://www.google.com/amp/s/boston.cbslocal.com/2020/01/13/details-emerge-josh-mcdaniels-cleveland-browns-interview-wasnt-great-fit-head-coach/amp/
  21. You must pull your hair out watching Greedy then 😀
