Here is this week's Survey.    Give your opinions:

    1. Who is your preference to get the Brown's HC job?

I figured that Jim Harbaugh would have been available by now. Seriously though McDaniels.

    2. Since someone vaguely referenced that they disagreed with my opinion (without stating one word as to why)   What positions do you think is the top priority for the Browns in Free Agency or the Draft.

The O-line. A few years ago watching the Browns play the Patriots I don't recall Brady getting touched (he probably did I just don't remember). Now granted it was our defense but I really think if we could give Baker another second or so it might make a difference.

    3.  Who wins the National Championship Game:   LSU or Clemson?

LSU - Ohio State should have beaten Clemson.

    4.  Are you ready to apply for your medical marijuana due to you being a Browns fan?

40+ years ago - not going back.

    5. Who do you like in the Greatest of All Time Jeopardy Tournament:   Scott Rudder,  Ken Jennings, or James Holzhauer?

Jennings - liked that long streak.

    6.  What, in your opinion was the best movie you saw all of last year....or at least the one you liked the most.

Didn't see any new movies. Did watch "Draft Day" on Amazon Prime.

If you had to guess who else would you have predicted would make the PB back in July?

Most here would predict: Baker, Myles, OBJ, Cubb, Ward, Vernon, Schobert.

    And Freddie the coach.

Interesting that they have those little green pockets in the early game that will be watching Raiders/chargers.    Atlanta, Charlotte, NO, Nashville, Indy.

Maybe they think it will be a more competitive game than the Browns/Ratfuckers.

I just noticed that. Those cities have a team playing early on fox and the green pockets are a late game.

  4. Was watching the Eagles/Redskins earlier and the Fox announcers were playing up the fact that Urban was watching the game from Dan Browns box. They even had a graphic of the Redskin coaches records. While I don't believe Urban will coach anytime soon. What are the thoughts of him being a Brown?

  5. Maybe if half the ravens get injured tonight.

Even if we play our best game we had it will be tough. I go back to the Thursday night game and that crap at the end. Loosing our best defensive player ripples through the whole defense. Our offense isn't good enough to score enough points.

  6. Yea, it used to be a contractual thing.....CBS aired all AFC interconference games...and all  AFC  away games when they played an NFC team.  And vice versa for Fox and the NFC.    But that formula has obviously gone out the window.....and who knows how they determined which network airs a particular game nowadays.

That's the way I remember it. I wonder if Thursday night changed things.

    A couple of notations:

    A.  Why do the networks think the country gives 2 shits about the mediocre  Cowboys?

Jerry Jones must be on the TV rights negotiations committee.

    B. I get it that the Browns/Cardinals game is not a nationwide eye catcher.  One team essentially already eliminated (AZ)....another hanging on by a thread  (Browns)

I get that. Where I live doesn't really have a "home team". If the Browns were doing better they would be televised here. Was spoiled in NW Ohio as you could count on the Browns on CBS and the Lions on Fox (not that I watched the Lions).

    C. The biggest game of the day for us, besides the Browns game itself, is that   DATs vs. TITs  game.  played early.   (plus the Bills vs. Steeler game played Sunday night.

  8. Here we go. Once again very limited TV coverage of the Browns game this weekend (and once again not here in Southern West Virginia). The weather looks like upper 60's and sunny in Glendale - not sure if the dome will be open or shut - either way perfect weather.

True it will be tough - I don't know who can beat Clemson.

I was only a rumor in Gip's mind....  And OSU is the #2 seed, as I suspected....

I do believe the SEC receives favorable treatment from the committee. Georgia loosing yesterday did make for a good field though - the way it should be - conference champions playing for the championship.
