  1. I think it's pretty obvious what happened. I have seen multiple angles and it could not be more clear. Anybody that has a shred of common sense knows what it was. And it definitely was........

They just fixed that with the new kickoff rules in the last week or so. There's going to be more returns and more injuries.

The point I was making is all the rules changes they have made over the years and there is still a mountain of injuries every year. Concussions, torn ACL's, I'm all for making the game safer but you're never going to make the game completely safe. It seems the this new rule change isn't popular with the players. Pretty soon the game isn't going to be recognizable.

You're as big an idiot over here as you are over there, except nobody here notices it.

For starters there wasn't a penalty on that play. The Stealer LB wasn't fined either, in case you may have thought that too.

Then as I have pointed out to you before, you proceed to talk out of both sides of your mouth. On one side you babble about making the game safer, immediately followed by conceding to the fact that football is a violent game so they may as well "have at it".

Take a stand you clown. You people must do that in order to have all bases covered, so as to never be wrong.

As to your brilliant idea, the refs whistle is a glaring indication that forward progress has stopped. It is already illegal to go after a player's knees or anywhere else after the whistle has been blown.

Get ready, Neo will come try to spin and go off in different tangents to try to rationalize his gem of a post.

What does "FY" stand for? I'm convinced it's "Fuck You". And 56, is that your age or your IQ?

    Shut up Neo.

You brought up veterans and the notion that we would have no issues with homeless veteran squatters.

And now you ask me how you tell the difference between a homeless vet?

You obviously know, you brought it up you moron.

Read Cals reply, I wasn't gonna waste any more time on you.

ok fuckface, if you don't want me to reply, then leave my name out. You dragged me into the bullshit thread. If you're gonna talk shit about be, I'm going to respond. I don't care about you, your shitty world views, what you think about the economy, squatters, the fucking bridge collapse, I DON'T CARE. I wasn't going to say anything until you mentioned me. Now FUCK OFF

And you sit there and wonder why everyone calls you a stupid fuck.

To have to explain to you the difference between a squatter who happens to be an illegal, that has contributed nothing to this country,.... and a veteran is a glaring indication of sheer ignorance.

So, exactly how do you tell who is a squatter, and who legit owns the house? Or even if it's an illegal, or a homeless vet? Do you suggest they go door to door checking papers? If a house was vacant for 10 years because the owner died, or just moved, how can you tell if someone moves in that they aren't squatters or illegals?

Case in point skippy, these 'trespassers' weren't there for 30 days.

You have to be a troll. I swear, between you, FY, Cal, and the rest of your friends, you all share a damaged half of a brain cell. It says right in the article they warned her not to change the locks and she did. They even escorted out the offender and then warned her not to change the locks. I think the 30 days is moot at this point as she broke the law. They said they had proof they were there 30 days. It's her word against theirs. If she feels her rights were violated then she should get a lawyer, NO?

Police have no right to warn you not to secure your house from trespassers.

They said they (squatters) were there 30 days. Sounds like they can't verify what either party is saying is true, it's a civil matter. If they were there 30 days, then their rights are being violated. A stupid law is a stupid law, but it's still law. If she's telling the truth, she'll get them out. I actually agree that it's a bullshit law, but that's just the way it is until they change it.

    Still  defending the losers, unreal.

Hey dumbass, did you miss the part where the actual homeowner came home before the 30 days and they still arrest her?

I'm not defending anyone, the LAW is.

What do you think I'm angry about? I didn't lose anything.

You're the one that brought it up, Spanky. If you're bringing it but then you must have read the article. Right from your own shitty news source FauxNews. I'm assuming this is the woman you're talking about.

NYC homeowner arrested after standoff with squatters she says illegally took over her $1 million property (msn.com)

    From the article👇

    Quote

Police arrived on the scene and spoke with the alleged squatters, asking if they had proof they had been living in the home for more than 30 days. Under New York City law, a person can claim squatters rights if they have lived in a home for more than 30 days.

    Quote

ndaloro was armed with the property's deed during the ordeal, while police escorted the two men off the property for apparent failure to show they had been living on the property for at least 30 days. Before police left, they warned Andaloro she could face legal penalties if she changed the locks, as it's illegal to turn off any utilities or change the locks of a home where someone says they are a tenant, ABC7 reported.

    Quote

Less than 10 minutes after the locks were changed, a man claiming to be on a lease for the home, identified as Brian Rodriguez, pushed through the home's door and police soon arrived at the home again, ABC 7 reported. Rodriguez was accompanied by another man who had just been escorted off the property by police moments earlier.

Sounds like they warned her but she didn't listen. Maybe the police made an error, maybe the woman should get a lawyer. This is probably why cops don't like to get involved and say it's a civil matter. It also sounds like she has some other issues going on as she said the house was "left" to her.

    Bullshit, they arrested her 1st...😑

You people, always angry or outraged by something but you don't know what you're angry about 😂 Are mad at the squatter, or the law that let's them do what they do? Sounds like you're angry at the law.

Imagine that, there's dishonest people in this world. I really don't think NY's 30 day squatter rights law was intended to be used like that. Somebody found a loophole and is exploiting it. And they are trying to fix it.

How about just arrest the squaters no questions asked...

Or they can start demolishing vacant homes that have been empty for years. They are starting to do that where I live now. It should have been done years ago. I'm not a superhero with x-ray vision, I can't look at a house and tell if the people living there are squatters or not, but I do know where the vacant houses are. I've reported people breaking into houses in the past and they came and removed them.

NY needs to change that law, Florida just made a change to it's law.

A homeless vet would never squat in someones house unless they were completely mentally ill.. They would rather take their chances in the wild where they were trained to survive...

Houses stand abandoned for a reason. The owner either died, or they walked out on their mortgage. Here's an idea, if you own a house that nobody lives in and you don't want it stolen, install an alarm system. That way if someone breaks in the cops can arrest them.

I love how we try to inform the brain dead left about illegals abusing the system, and they defend it by posting laws about how protected it is to steal someones property, as if it makes it ok and it's ok for illegals to to encourage and post videos on how to do it for the 3rd world to see. Ignoring the fact that this is the degenerate illegal base allowed to invade our country, assisted by the corrupt pos in office. Great contribution they are, morons.

It's the LAW, dumbass. It's kind of hard for the state of NY to do anything about it if it only takes 30 days for them to have rights. Even I agree that's a fucked up law, Ohio it takes 20+ years, BIG DIFFERENCE! The city I live in actually post notices on houses that are vacant. If I see people breaking into vacant homes in my neighborhood, I call the police.

Would you be so chirpy if it were a homeless vet squatting in an abandoned house?

  12. A lot of good the new safety rules did for Nick Chubb's knee. What a bargain that was if you're the Steelers.  Take out the opposing teams best player, maybe forever, and all you get is a 15 yard penalty. Great job making the NFL safer.

Want to make the NFL safer? How about making it a illegal to go for a player's knees if he's stacked up at the LOS and has lost all his forward momentum. Or at least make it legal that if he does, we as fans can go into the field and behead the bastard.

This is a barbaric sport, go back to the old rules and let these guys have at it, or put flags on them. They already effectively took away jobs of returnees like Devin Hester and Josh Cribbs who's main skills were returning kicks.
