    17 games.

That's true, but he's going to do it in game 16.   😉 With the longer seasons, a lot of those records are rendered obsolete. Jim Brown racked up 1,000+ yards rushing in 12 and 14 game seasons.

Really can't ask to live anywhere better if you are a bicycling enthusiast.

From Canal Fulton I've ridden north as far as the north end of Akron, and south down to Navarre.

Most of it on the Ohio and Erie Towpath.

A few years ago, I made it a goal to complete the entire Ohio to Erie Trail.   Living in Dayton the biking capital of SW Ohio... Over a period of years I had ridden it East as far as  Big Darby near Columbus, as far south as Newtown near Cincinnati, and the Towpath from Harvard road to Massillon.  So all that was left was about a 150 miles. The stretch west of Columbus to Massillon, and 15 mile jogs north from Harvard Road in Cleveland to the lake, and South of Newtown through Cincinnati to the Ohio River. If I had been able to ride point to point I could have done it a lot quicker- had to break it up into out and back chunks.  BTW, parts of the trail signage sucked, and I wasted a lot of hours trying to figure out where the trail was, or having to double back because I missed a trail turnoff.

Finally my big victory, putting the wheel of my Waterford in Lake Erie to say I finished... I found out a real interesting fact. I use SPD-L cleats, getting wet sand in them is a BAD idea. Riding back through the Edgewater parking lot it was like having your cleats glued to the pedals with super glue. Zero mph crash- and I kid you not I had to get my feet out of the shoes and rip them off the pedals. Fortunately I had enough water to clean up the cleats.

The Vikings really gave us a prime example of grasping defeat from the jaws of victory. So many browning ducks the Vikings DBs just couldn’t get in position, and trying and failing to call the tush push twice in overtime - just give it to the damn back who was gashing the banged up bengals front all day. Mullens chucking two red zone interceptions, one of which to a guy 6 inches from him laying on his back.

Blech, thankfully the bengals have atrocious tie breaker positioning.

^ at least Joey Flacco has big hands, should help him in the rain.

ESPN solved my confusion as to how the Bengals suddenly vaulted up into the #6 seed. They beat the Colts and Bills head to head. I can't see the beat up Steelers managing to give the Bengals another loss. So their road game against the Chiefs becomes mighty important. Browns perspective? They need to win at least two out of our final three games, so the finale against the Bengals becomes moot.

Tex, Growing up in Cleveland, about 45 miles north of Canal Fulton... I always thought, "wow, that's a weird name for a town".

When I completed the Ohio to Erie Bike Trail a few years back, I found out why.... There really is a canal in Canal Fulton. it's been restored...they even offer canal boat rides in the summer. The bike path is right next to canal, After 100+ years, a lot of the canal has reverted back to it's natural state- and BTW downtown Akron sits directly on top of what used to be the canal.

When you ride the path next to it, you can't help but be amazed at the amount of manual ditch digging labor was involved to create it before the age of steam shovels and bulldozers. A trench 20 feet wide, probably eight feet deep, and hundreds of miles long.

    Where do you sit?

We are in the 300s right on an end near the Southwest opening next to the American flag, and right about the time for the anthem the wind kicked up something fierce. First half wasn't pleasant, but it cleared out for the second half and the sun actually came out, about the time the Bears took a 17-7 lead. In fact, our obnoxious moonshine swilling Bears neighbor made sure to tell all of us how "the sun is shining on the Bears!"

As it became apparent the Browns were going to win, we made sure to serenade him with "Oh, the sun is shining on our Bears!" 🤣 I mean, seriously, a Bears fan talking shit?

Section 111 Row 9.   Roughly on the 20 yard line field level. That's what 30+ years worth of seniority will get you.

FWIW, MHO the best seats are in the 100 level last row, you're under cover, and can knock on the floor of the owner's box.  Just me, but I feel Club seats are over rated. You get nicer bars, restrooms, and the area behind the seats is heated\ air conditioned.

This team is the Kardiac Kids in all phases of the game.. offense, defense, special teams, coaches!!💓💓💓💓

Tex, though you probably weren't following the Kardiac Kids back then- BUT I'll put in my request right now.. Shades of the Kids, keep wearing the orange pants for the rest of the year home and away.  I don't care if Doug Dieken hated them, I love 'em.  :)

Dunn is usually way better than he played today.  I'll cut him some slack for the way he stepped up vrs SF earlier this year.  Gumbs I had a feeling the Bears would give us all we could handle given how much of our salary cap is on IR.

To quote the lyrics: "There's something happening here. What is is ain't exactly clear...."

Towards the end, the Browns had guys playing O-line I didn't even know were on the roster... And as was said, that was the Buffalo Springfield "For what it's worth".  speaking of Buffalo... No comprendo how them damn Bungles are now the #6 seed, unless they beat BOTH Buffalo and the Texans.  🙄

Ditto there Dutch...  I'm back in town for my pal's 50th wedding anniversary on the 26th, and the whole crew is heading to the TNF game....  And my other pal had better stop calling me a "curse" I'm 3-1 this year...  And the supposed REAL "curse" that would be my wife- is now 2-0.  :)

BTW I was at the game too, and the weather didn't turn out 1\2 as hateful as predicted....  Just occasional drizzle, and the rain stopped well before 2PM.

  7. Not good prognosticating Z, damn Viqueens, couldn't beat the Bungles...  I'll take a Squealer loss, but unfortunately I don't see them beating the Bengals- at least once.  Yeah, them Bungles now hold the #7 seed, but not if either the Texans or Bills win today...

However I have very BAD news for you today Z....   Due to the nephew backing out of going to the game at the last minute.... Both me AND "The Curse" will be in attendance today, in duck weather no less... Not too happy about it either.  I'll accept donations to stay at my pal's house and stay dry.   😉

MHO? Whoever wins the turnover battle will win the game, the pigskin is going to be really slippery in the rain.

LOL I've come to realize- of course you do, considering your opinion that 1\6 was no big deal. Do you approve of Donnie's MAGA mob issuing multiple death threats against election workers by one of his pals? I don't.

As I see it, Rudy has two futures in front of him... Either flat broke living out of a car, or at least he'll have a roof over his head- in prison when the Georgia RICO case is over.   😉

You apparently haven't spent enough time on the Poli Board to fully grasp it KD..... There's several posters here who refuse to post there.  FWIW, there's really no "discussion" going on there.

Without getting into too many details,  If you have a certain POV, you're one of their Cult.  Try to play in their sandbox with an opposing POV,  and get ready for a barrage of ad hominum attacks, libtard, or in my case a "drunk".  So please tell me how THAT enables intelligent discussion. It's essentially a Forum of unmoderated & mostly unverifiable conspiracy bullshit.

I don’t think they were even doing that. They had people like fat DLine guys getting touchdowns in the end. Offense letting up sure, but defensive guys always wanna get the scores since they don’t get the chance often. Can’t blame em

Flacco is going to drop 73 on the ravens in the afc championship game. As the script writers intended  😄

People loved the hire in the beginning, but then again most also loved the hue hire in Cleveland. He’s young enough to build his career again, he just needs to stay likable unlike Hue post-browns

Regarding the Chargers spin cycle machine... Rebuild your resume as a coordinator, the job offers will come.  😉

Though I believe you're aware Tex, for those who aren't.... if you get skunked on not getting the Browns live broadcast, NFLN rebroadcasts the games o a periodic basis the following week. But the exact times don't show up until Monday or so....

I also don't need responses - I post what I think is interesting to be read. That's all. I don't know Patriot Alerts, rarely ever have seen Epoch Times, almost never Newsmax crap.

You no likey my couple of favorite places? sorry to make you cry, shirley karen whoreta. I'm mostly Redstate and Drudge.

Meanwhile, in sober reality land - you have blood on your hands from your vote against Pres Trump. Maybe you like rape, torture, kidnapping, babies burned alive and wars?

NONE OF IT WOULD BE HAPPENING IN UKRAINE OR ISRAEL IF PRES TRUMP WAS STILL PRESIDENT>

Well suck it up buttercup if stuff that isn't right wing conspiracy hurts your feelings, and you don't want it posted here.  Unfortunately, I don't have the time or inclination to post stuff here on a daily basis from YouTube like Farron Balanced, The Damage Report, Glenn Kirshner, Medias Touch Network, or David Packman....  That would REALLY piss you off.  :D

    1) I have blood on my hands? LOL!!!  Well Doctor (he thinks he is) Trump killed around 500,000 AMERICANS telling folks masks were optional, drink bleach or shove a UV light up your ass. And it was going to be gone by Easter- remember?    FWIW, if he was an average schmuck like us- he'd most likely already be dead, except the Docs managed to save his sorry ass using some experimental treatments when he caught  his beloved "China Virus".   :D  :D :D

    2) Regarding your BOLD you have no way in hell of know that- pure projection about the Mango Messiah. As far as Ukraine goes, damn right, because it would now be a puppet state of his pal Vlad.  :(

Ah, believe whatever the hell you want to Cal.... There's maybe a 5% chance I'd vote for Nikki Haley, but ZERO I'll ever consider voting for a guy who has 91 felony counts against him. If you think all those charges are bogus, have another swig of the Orange Kool-Aid.  It literally boggles my mind the RNC is even thinking about giving him the nomination.

haha, too bad. You lose. It's you who keeps talking about wine. And more than me wonder if drunken episodes would explain your behavior on this forum, whoreta.

Coming from a teetotaler, I totally understand your lack of understanding regarding wine.

When you have nothing, INSULT- loser...  Again, thanks for proving what I just posted- you right wing nut jobs don't want to hear anything that goes against the unverified crap that gets posted here.  Like those millions of bogus ballots.

From the looks of your posting, seems like you spend hours every day scanning The Blaze, Patriot Alerts, News Max, and probably Epoch Times for the conspiracy of the day... So you can post it here and and get no responses.  That's what crazy people do- talk to themselves.  :D

And to paraphrase Winston Churchill's famous quote, I may have been drunk in the past- but today I'm dead sober, however you're still one psychotic loony.

Watson's career is over. He's going to stick it out because $150M, but the dude's shoulder is never going to be the same. He already had a noodle arm before the glenoid broke. I've never seen any case reports of a throwing athlete coming back from this injury to his throwing arm. If we get rid of Flacco, I'm going to lose my mind.

You sound like the Eeyore's I've seen on other Browns forums. Woe is us!!! Too many injuries, we're not going to win another game.  Unless you're an orthopedic surgeon, your comment regarding Watson is pure speculation.

Ogbonnia Okoronkwo has a pectoral injury apparently that may also derail his season, not a lot of news about it yet

Yeah, I figured Delpit with a groin injury was going to miss some time.... And the owners want an 18 game schedule?  Better go the college route, and expand the roster to 70 or so...  We're not the only team that's getting hit with injuries... I've lost track of how many #1 quarterbacks are out for the season, or have missed serious playing time.  ...

No only is he in the running for COTY, although I think the Texans HC will get it, he has shown to be an upper tier game planner on how to attack other teams. And he has improved with things on when to go for it on 4th down etc. Dude is getting better. Compare him to the OC trash they have going on in Pittsburgh right now. They just call plays and have no idea how to attack the other teams defense etc. Stefanski has, outside of the first Ravens game, have given this team a chance to win every week.

FWIW, the short attention spans have so quickly forgotten our wonderous seasons under the likes of  Mike Pettine, Hueless "the Clueless" Jackson, and Freddie "in the" Kitchens.

Some guys aren't going to be satisfied until we hire the next Chuck Noll, and win a few Super Bowls.

Add in Kev has a knack bringing in top assistant coaches like Schwartz, Stump Mitchell, and Bill Callahan.

Gahhh!.. there goes my OROY hopes for him...

Well the "good" news- if you want to call it that- is Jed Wills is eligible to come off IR...

"However, Wills probably will need more time to recover. Veteran Geron Christian has started at left tackle since Wills’ injury and has done a valiant job protecting the various quarterbacks who have been under center in that span."

There's been speculation when Wills comes back switching Christian from left to right tackle. though I have to wonder...  IIRC EDIT: Fact check Wills was indeed a right tackle at Alabama, and the Browns switched him over to the left side.  So play Wills at RT, and leave Christian at LT?
