Not wrong. Hell, I could see past the first option with those three dynamic star WR's.

Honestly, how does anyone know that Baker isn't on his 2nd/3rd read when a first read wr finally gets open?

A look at the excellent chemistry between Joe Burrow and ...

Burrow was 26 of 37 for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns on the day, but that stat line doesn't really do justice to his performance. Burrow and his receivers did some special things in this game.

BTW, go back and look at the Browns vs Cincy this year. 41-6 sound familiar?

    Baker qb rating: 132

    Burrow qb rating: 69

    That’s 1 game you dipshit

Baker Mayfield thrived late in games in 2020, but it’s been a struggle this season

    Burrow is terrific.

    He also has:

    Ja'Marr Chase - 2021 FIRST ROUND, #5 pick overall.WR

Tee HIggins - 2020 SECOND ROUND

Tyler Boyd - 2016 SECOND ROUND pick, WR

If Burrow was with the Browns, he'd go through hell

WRONG!!!!  Burrow can see past the 1st option

  4. Unless Baker can prove that he is the franchise QB of this team in these last 5 games then it may be time to move on. As a #1 overall pick he hasn’t lived up to that level. Everyone’s opinion will vary on this topic, I didn’t like the pick when it happened, but I gave it a chance. No more excuses injuries, WR’s,play calling, coaching. 5 games, if Baker doesn’t perform then I’d be willing to take a chance on Kenny Pickett

The running game didn't work because they stacked the box with 8 to stop Chubb and Hunt. It worked to perfection for the Ravens. The Ravens essentially said: "Try to beat us Baker". Baker couldn't. It's as simple as that.

No adjustments made on offense, a QB that has proven he can’t make a play in the 4th quarter when it matters

Plan A is paying Baker.  We are Looking at around 30M….if we are lucky.  And that will result in talent falling off the next couple years.  I think you will still have a competitive team…and I think tortured Browns fans are mostly okay with that after dealing with the team and all its failures the past 20 years.

Plan B is kicking the tires on a few of these names that were popping up this offseason (Rodgers/Russ Wilson).  This is the three year stop gap tremendous upgrade “all-in” move.  In that window you take advantage of some of these Prime years we’ve extended Nick Chubb, Teller, Bitonio, Garrett. You groom the next guy sometime at the end of this window or you rebuild one year.  Are we okay with losing some picks?

Plan C is doing nothing and keeping Baker. Hopefully he’s fully healthy next year and he either surprises and plays well or he is what he is a 15-20 type QB in the league.  If he’s better you pay more- if we determine his play has leveled off…2023 who knows what is out there to replace him.

Plan D   Bring back Clipboard Jesus!!!!!
