  1. This is nonsense. How is the nfl more profitable if the Steelers win? The season ticket list for steeler game is 20+ years long. Years! People in Pittsburgh aren’t going to stop watching the Steelers no matter their record. You all should worry about the Browns because I can tell you steeler boards aren’t starting Browns threads when we aren’t playing the browns.
  2. Some of you in here foaming didn’t watch that game. There were bad calls on both sides of the field. Their tackles for example were false starting left and right without flags. TJ watt even mentioned it in his presser. Yet the bears still continued lining up in the neutral zone, one dude did it three times in one drive. As far as the taunting is concerned the rule is stupid but the taunting was legit. I’m not sure why people are surprised either. Marsh was a preseason darling and got cut. He got that sack and specifically headed towards the steeler sideline after he did that bad ass spin kick. Sooo he does the spin kick, then heads opposite side line to flex. He’s still ON the field looking at the steeler bench while Harvin our punter is coming on the field. Get rid of the rule but that was taunting. The fuckin end. If ole corrente wanted to throw the flag for the supposed contact he wouldn’t have called it taunting. NFL refs are atrocious and the calls were bad both ways. Oh but it’s “I’m shocked, the Steelers got calls” 😂
  3. Gipp......I mean Lar-bear don't move the fucking goal posts. You were talking shit about the schedules and I told you they are virtually the same. If you didn't believe the Browns had a harder schedule overall why bring it up in the first place? If I misinterpreted what you said initially explain, otherwise you owe me a damn beer.
  4. Sooooooo when you click that link it says "remaining schedule". The Browns have a tougher remaining schedule because the Steelers schedule started heavy. Go through both schedules and compare the differences.
  5. It's how the offense is being called right now. It's also been dink and dunk because the line is really young, the same line that absolutely controlled the line of scrimmage. The only reason garrett had himself a day is because the Steelers weren't chipping him and leaving moore on a island which I admit was a little strange. Ben's arm is completely fine from a strength stand point and he's hard more than a few passes this year that displays it. He again can't rely on his mobility anymore or his stature/strength because of previous injuries which is why you aren't seeing all the normal ben theatrics. The man is notorious for not watching a ton of tape, not throwing in the offseason etc. He has always been the guy that just goes out and does it, now that his body is catching up he can't so he's had to adjust. As far as the schedule is concerned the games we did lose were all to good teams and none were blow outs and several were when the line wasn't gelling. The line is gelling now which is why the run game is improving. The steelers are also running quite a bit of RPO stuff. EDIT: Your schedule argument is seriously lazy. We already played the Packers and the Raiders, we haven't had any cup cake games yet but the Browns certainly have. We have nearly identical schedules only ours is likely more difficult as a whole. What now?
  6. Ben's arm isn't shot. His mobility isn't the same so he's having to alter how he approaches his snaps. He could previously run around like a gun slinger, shed tackles etc and he can't do it now. Saying his arm is shot only indicates to me you aren't watching many of his throws. Is his arm the same? no, he's 39 but it's far from shot. We pulled a break on the schedule? Our schedule has certainly been tougher than the Browns. Don't talk out your ass there big guy. I read entirely too much for that.
  7. Hey its not all sunshine and rainbows. I'm not unrealistic. I didn't lose my shit earlier in the season because it's a lot of young players learning with plenty of room to improve. Looking at a bunch of vets not getting it done is far less palatable. Keenum is one of the best backups in the league. I don't know where the steelers will end up but I'm enjoying their maturation and I was really happy for Ben yesterday. I get why people are pissed off here and im definitely not interested in rubbing it in. I've said my very mild piece of the subject and that's all I plan to do. Baker was throwing high all game yesterday, I blame the shoulder.
  8. It's the 80's. Soooo many movies are full of the cheese. I love over the top and rocky 4. How could you not? I'm gonna turn my hat around on fucking Dutch for getting his underroos in a bunch.
  9. Jesus Christ. 😂 I think you should take a walk, maybe smoke a little cannabis and chill the fuck out.
  10. Just stop? I could be piling it on. The Steelers aren't riddled with injuries? Tuitt on ir, alualu on ir, Decastro got cut right before the season because he had to have another surgery. Juju is on ir. Ebron and Ingram both were out. Carlo Davis is hurt. What are we talking about here? Ive had to listen about the demise of the steelers on a semi regular basis living in ohio. Oh and Boswell didn't play the entire second half. Don't talk to me about injuries Dutch. I'm also not sure how you can say the steelers aren't going anywhere. Do I expect them to win the Super bowl? No but can I see them making the playoffs? Absolutely. The team is getting better every week. I've earned the right to talk some shit and it's been MILD. You can handle it for a couple days. Edit: the steelers also get the bears and the lions the next two weeks. Go check the collective record of the teams the steelers have played thus far as well.
  11. My post wasn't necessarily directed at you. As a diehard steeler fan that has been posting here for a long time I don't think I'd call it weird. The Steelers were better. Our line stepped up. Harris is a stallion and Ben made Ben type plays. (Pat made a ridiculous catch in the endzone too) Baker was high a lot of the time and some of that had to do with his shoulder. He's a gamer that little bastard. If I were a Browns fan and watched him get destroyed heading for the sideline and also watched him stand up and charge back on the field I'd have been ready to run through a wall. It's a shame he isn't 6'5. The Steelers are a good team that played a bunch of good teams so far this season. You all have just been sleeping on them because it's convenient. 🤷‍♂️😎🤙
  12. We know they didn't see a foul as they didn't throw a flag. Now go see what Ole gene said about it. It was a uncalled penalty.
  13. Boswell is the passer. You can't hit him like that, period. The Browns got away with a bunch today. Baker was a runner and firmly in bounds. Holding Garrett? Let's see them. He wasn't being held. He was mauling our rookie tackle. Let's see those holds. Oh and the Browns were outplayed. Get back in the basement.
  14. He smacked Boswell well after the ball was gone. No excuse for it either. He knew exactly what he was doing on that play. No flag there was also absurd.
  15. Seeing as the steelers are now suffering from a seriously stupid fake kick I feel compelled to highlight yet again how horrific the NFL officiating is on a routine basis. Boswell throws the ball and gets killed. No flag. It was roughing. The same can be said when the refs through a flag on the roughing on Ben and picked the shit back up. Any of you on this board routinely bitching about calls need to watch more football games. Nfl refs are a total joke and it's not just against the Browns.
