I thought the deal that the NFL nixed regarding Clowney was between the Browns and Saints? Was there another deal?
That was a front, if deal was approved he wasnt going to sign with the Browns,he was going to sign with Jacksonville and the Jags were trading him to the Ravens, Clowney wanted to be in Baltimore... the NFL will likely address this issue, essentially a team is signing a player and picking up part of the salary in exchange for another teams draft picks,, basically a back door way to buy draft picks which you can't do

Well at least the NFL nixed the deal that would of sent Clowney to the Ravens, that would of been hard to swallow

My tradition started in 1996 when they became a top rate winning organization

Prove what you were saying about the tax rate being 37%. I am just a poor boy.
You said fat cats don't pay that much, obviously good accountants and a savvy financial plan can limit the damage but 37% is top end, and you have to figure in Ohio state taxes which I dont know what the rate is, I am not in Ohio

I'm going to wait until I see the white smoke come out of the chimney when they actually pick a new coach and go from there.
I don't think that they are going to consult with us before making a decision.

if the Browns keep winning, we'll keep finding sisters ...
New York Jets @ Baltimore, Thursday Night Football, 8:20 PM
If you need a reason to root against the Ravens (you don't), it is that they play the Steelers the last week of the season and we don't want to see them with everything sewn up, resting their starters that week. Oh, and their city took our Browns, there's that. Upset Alert... Ravens start Jacko, Jets injure him again, and steal an ugly road win in chilly Baltimore. JETS 19 RAVENS 16
New England at Cincinnati, Sunday, 1:00 PM
Spygate II ... The Attack of the Clowns!! The sequel is never as good, but I thought it would be better than ... the Bungles! Cincy will keep it close, until NY calls in a couple PI calls to keep the Pats in line for a bye. PATRIOTS 24 BUNGLES 22
Cleveland at Arizona, Sunday, 4:05 PM
The Browns sure disappointed in the beginning of the season, but they now seem to be getting a lot of negative media that they don't deserve. I think this unites them and they blow teams away down the stretch ... starting with this college team... BROWNS 44 CARDINALS 17
Buffalo at Pittsburgh, Sunday Night Football, 8:20 PM
The little duck story is cute, but the Bills have a real defense and the duck's luck is about to run out. BILLS 20 STEELERS 3
Nice pick

Build the offensive line, giving Hunt big money is foolhardy....how many winning teams pay big money to a running back

Right now we are sitting at #8. 6 teams from AFC get in.
Things that helped us today: raiders lost. Meaning even if they win out we get in over them. Now it's time to root for them to win out and go 9-7. Remember we need multiple teams to go 9-7 to negate the head to head titans loss.
Denver embarrassing the Texans helps. It might be more beneficial for Tennessee to win thier division and have Texans go 9-7. Bill's lost. Next week is tough. Do we root for Bill's or steelers? On one hand Bills play new engkand the next week and no way will the nfl allow Bills to beat them. So if Pittsburgh beats the bills....then new england... we would be banking on Bills to lose final game. We own tie breaker.
We will own tie breaker with steelers due to better division record. We are definitely still in the thick of it and can back into the playoffs.
If the Bills go on losing streak and we win out...we are 100% in as long as Steelers and titans dont have 10 wins
If Tennessee wins division and Steelers go 9-7...we go 9-7 we are 100% in.

I was at a court hearing (not my court) for an eviction earlier this week. It was "cattle call" day at court....where all the people who were in to plead etc. had to show up. I am sure you know what I mean if you have ever gone to court on a ticket. Perhaps, also, you are aware that at these usually a bailiff comes in and addresses the crowd on various procedures before the judge comes into court.
Well, this particular bailiff, who I know and have been in his court (his judge's court) any number of times, has a sense of humor. He noted: "this is the week the Browns play the Bengals......but, the fact is The Ohio State Buckeyes are the only professional football team in the state of Ohio.
So....here you go for the only Pro team in Ohio:
Nevertheless, the other two semi-pro teams in the state are playing each other.
Browns over Bengals 24-16.
Bills over Baltimore.......27-20. Why am I still not sold on them.
Cardinals over Steelers. Only the Browns lose to third string QBs (the Bronco guy, the Steeler guy). 20-13.
Because your hatred defies logic...Your angry because this was the Browns year...this was the year...Baker to OBJ...the D.... the Dawg Pound..woof woof....playoff dreams of that elusive Super Bowl...but reality sets in...undisciplined play...Baker full of himself...OBJ pissed....your best player cant control himself in what should of been a glorious moment......all this and at the end of the day the Browns are still a lower tier team.....then you sit there and watch a subpar Steeler team still manage to most likely make the playoffs,,,the rise of Lamar Jackson and the Ravens as the best team in football...it wasnt supposed to be ,,, how is this possible??

Take the ball first and score and dictate their play calls. Jackson zinging it 30+ times is not their game.
- Take away the TE. Make a young QB go to second and third reads. I don’t see any progression football from Jackson
- Zone coverage drop 7 on passing downs.
- 5 down on running downs. Occupy their G, C G try to get Ingram and company going East and west.
- change the way you blitz. Rush lanes- controlled blitz contain the pocket.I maintain You need to see them before you can beat them. Too many cocky D coordinators out their trying to run their scheme and not modify their approach. Chiefs Pats Bills Browns may all be playoff teams and they’ve seen Jackson it’s a huge benefit
if I’m the Raven next year I draft a rangy tall redzone target WR for Jackson next year. Someone that can make up for footballs that aren’t placed perfectly. Watch out when that happens.
this offseason we need to draft Or acquire a Jackson spy.
And for those that don't know, the Ravens have almost 50 million in cap space next year with Flaco off the books...Browns need to really keep improving and lets hope Pittsburgh can't find a QB

Let’s stop the car right there. They are beatable. Jackson is an average qb at best there d is average at best the o- line is among the best. How to beat them. I’ll tell you. First you can set in a zone and have no pressure and give Jackson 6 to 9 seconds to set back there. Two you have to shut the run down mainly o. The edges. So personnel comes in to this. Run a bear front and play man. On the other side team need to run the ball. Mainly off tackle. There secondary is not that good the problem is the nfl is letting there corners mug the receivers. And there lies the problem, the nfl is protecting to raven, as there are with the stillers and pats. Honestly how many holding and pass interference calls did the ravens get away with last night.
I stopped reading after the second line in your post
