Nothing like a bag of longneck clams, some fresh melted butter and bbq chicken with a sweet tater this time of year. Nobody around here is very familiar with the Clambake thing so we need to do it ourselves.

Wedgewood (no delivery!), Belleria, Elmton will keep you in pizza heaven for awhile. Plus even a lot of the ESPN announcing staff have hit the MVR down by YSU in ol' Smokey Hollow to enjoy some great Italian food and play some bocce, a totally hidden gem for many.
The whole Mahoning valley is peppered with some of the greatest Italian eateries anywhere. Jaks even has genuine Amish made pizza...very unique in most of the country. Had some Belleria Italian fries at lunch today. As far as pizza slut or pappy Juan's, yinzers like that crap

Yes the very good and amazingly consistent WEDGEWOOD PIZZA and Youngstown area pizzas in general, so much better than in many other areas in the USA......and you know who you are!
*oh a big disclaimer to some great pizzas I've had in Chicago, like Giordano's on Rush back on my first business trip in 1982, excellent.
It's kinda funny how those places end up putting the chains outs business. Must be the sauce. Or the availability of all the fresh cheese and sausage.

Yeah but did you hide in the fog of the mosquito spraying machines as they drove down the street? One of our favorite games growing up.
Mosquito spray machines??? Never saw one. You can ride em here. I'll take them over fireants tho.
