Your worship of him is just blinding you of what a complete corrupt piece of shit the man is. Durham report was yet another nothing burger to go with the stupid. ByDon impeachment, Hunter laptop, Obama birth certificate, mass voter fraud, Pizza gate, murder of Seth Rich, and that's only the ones I can think of offhand. "It's deep", because it is completely unfalsifiable and can be used to explain anything the loser using it wants to dismiss. Cheetos been ripping people off his whole life; this is nothing but accountability.

So Watson likes Winston you say?  For what reason do you suppose that is?  Probably because Watson can now enjoy company with another pervert and allow fans someone else to boo.

And it doesn't appear Winston wants to come here to sit on the bench.

Jameis Winston has already made his intentions clear to new teammate Deshaun Watson (msn.com)

Winston thinks he’s a starter in the NFL? 🤣😂

    That ship has sailed.

Stop sipping your tea for a second and remind us all why Watson didn't finish the season last year.  There is THAT!  Anything less than former 1st round QB Joe Flacco was, well.... PJ Walker right?

What's next?  Oh yeah, we should remember the play Watson got injured on and how it happened.    Our blind side tackle Wills missed a block.  Gee, why would one be more concerned about a QB controversy than a backup QB being capable of doing well enough to keep this team winning the next time Wills gets Watson hurt?  You can worry about the feelings of a QB that has only started 12 games in 2 years.  I want to be assured we're not overpaying a turnover machine to back up this type of QB.  Fields only costs his new team a 6th round pick (and possibly a 4th if he plays 51% of the snaps).

Any guy that carelessly throws 30 INTs in a season like Jameis did the year before Brady - keeps his team from making the playoffs.  They HATED Jameis Winston in Tampa any time I listened to local sports radio here. 1 year later that non-playoff team won a Super Bowl. I don't remember ever posting that I wanted the Browns to bring an Ohio State QB here until a division rival landed a 1st round (11th overall) QB for a 6th round pick.  I posted this a week or 2 before it happened. Considering our cap situation - yes, I'll go on record saying Fields would have been a much better bang for the buck than Crablegs.

Anyone in here knows the Ohio State fanbase hasn't been in here every year wanting the Browns to draft Ohio State QBs. That was ridiculous by you.  We didn't even do that for CJ Stroud or Fields the years they were drafted in the 1st round.  Crablegs is gonna cost about about 6-7 million $ while Fields only costs Pittsburgh 3.2 million $ as a former 11th overall pick.  If my gut here ends up being wrong about this I'll deserve any and all ball busting back.  But if Wills misses another block on the blind side (which is more a question of when than if) and Watson gets planted on the right shoulder again - you're more interested in not having a QB controversy than winning.  Got it!  The NY Jets didn't have any QB controversy in 2023 right?  I'm sure that made every guy on their defense extremely happy they had a losing record to show for their efforts.

Yeah…I’m not sure what Berry sees in Wills to keep him on the roster.

Are you drinking this early in the morning? Hopefully not.

Funny you have to go back to your domestic abuser protecting coach. You know, the guy that coached multiple murderers at Florida. The guy probably at some bar right now attempting to finger random chicks? Oh please, tell us about Meyer...

And you can keep living on that asterisk dream as much as you'd like. Fun stuff came out of it, like evidence OSU was sharing signs too. Oh well, I'm sure Day and Co gave it their best shot, and they got what they wanted, no more Boogeyman Harbaugh in Ann arbor.

Day can do it this year! For sure!

You talking about the guy that went undefeated against Meatchicken?

I guess if I was a fan of that team up north I would still be talking shit about him too.

You mean the act the specifies that any documents created while a person is president belongs the US government. That you believe your lord and savior when he references the act is just sad. The law was pass after Nixon was caught destroying documents. It was passed to make sure the documents stayed with the office of the Presidency. The act does the opposite of what Cheetos is telling you. But you are in a cult, so...

But not a single word about your Demented President that isn’t mentally competent to go to trial over HIS mishandling of classified documents but is ok to run the country.

I guess you can help the clown put on his makeup.

The Browns won 5 of the 6 games Watson started in 2023; so whatever spin you guys rooting against him need to put on that while you're rooting for Tampa Bay instead of the Browns - run it man!  He's 8-4 in the games he's started in the last 2 years.

The Browns were 11-6 this year while Tampa was 9-8 in the worst division in the NFL.  That was a Super Bowl roster when Brady was here with all of the same WRs.  What happened?

To be fair, Watson lit up the AFC South when he was with Houston which was also a weak sister division in the NFL at that time.

The rest of your post is a fair assessment.

Thanks for all that info CD.  What are the Bears thinking?  They should keep Fields, draft Marvin Harrison and some OL.

That would be the logical thing to do, but you know as well as I do when you have a rabid fan base, and a constant churn of FO personnel along with HC’s….there’s no stability. I’m hoping as a Browns fan those days are behind us.

★ -->  ▪︎  Some interesting personal conduct stats there .... on the negative side.

? --> ▪︎ Those things tend to follow you around you around your play later around, eh ?

Another blurb from the same article. . .

Wants to get out of structure as a passer and get reckless as a runner (increased injury risk). He reverts to locking in with receivers. Additionally, he talked down about a fan calling him a “sheep,” and he does unpredictable and uncensored things ranging from painting obscenities on his fingernails to jumping into the stands and crying in his mother’s arms.

And that's just on the programs he hand selected for himself.  What could possibly go wrong as a rookie on a team that doesn't protect the passer very well?

That said, he does have intriguing passing stats when he's not being more generous than Santa Claus to the opponents. Here's his stats sporting good TD:INT ratios but none better than 41:3 from Fields. What got cut off was 35 sacks, for 272 yards and a passer rating of 170.1 in 2023. He takes a lot of sacks at the college level. TDs and INTs are bolded below.

I lifted a few blurbs about Caleb Williams from an NFL Scout’s (Dan Kelly) perspective. . .

Pro Football Focus recorded Williams at 3.44 seconds in 2022 and 3.21 seconds in 2023. Williams was sacked 63 times (2022-2023). Only seven NFL QBs are over 3 seconds (NEXT GEN STATS). Bears’ QB Justin Fields was the slowest (3.23 seconds). Fields was sacked 99 times (2022-2023).

Williams was 2-9 against ranked teams the past two seasons.

Post-game conduct ⎯refused to shake hands with Utah and refused to talk to reporters after the UCLA loss.
