  1. Colts already lost. And so did the Texans.. So YES on Oakland or NO.....
  2. Ok who am I rooting for in Oakland Tenn game. Obviously I am roosting against Squealers..... Any other games of consequence left to be played for us?
  3. Loved all the talking heads losing their shit over OBJ being targeted 7 times and only getting 20 yards. And Garret only getting a single sack and a handful of tackles.. Therefore.. They suck... Not sure how people can claim to be experts in the game and not understand how the fact they "sucked" yesterday is why we won the game so easily.. OBJ was double teamed all day long(and a few triples).. At one point OBJ was being held on the ground and choked because they were so frustrated with him. Same goes for Garret. I think i saw at least 3 holds that were never called, and he was constantly double teamed.. What did this do for the rest of the team? This opened Landry to get 180 yards, which in turn opened up the run game for Chubb to run wild in a career day.. With Garret getting all the attention the other side of the line harassed and sacked one of the most mobile QB's in the league and caused him to cough up the ball 3 times after having not given the ball up a single time in 3 games.. THIS is what I saw in this team back in the summer.. PICK YOUR POISON.. You double team Garret, the what are you going to do with Richardson or Olivier? Double team OBJ, then who you going to put on Landry? And if you pull anyone back into coverage how are you ever going to stop Chubb once he is past the first level? I feel strongly that both OBJ and Garret will be selfless leaders and take the barbs of "sucking" if it means they are a part of a playoff team with dreams of a Super Bowl Ring.. We all know they are the reason the rest of it is happening.. Just wish there was a stat that would prove how valuable their low stats are. BobPound!
  4. Ok. Who got a tear in their eye when the alumni's were speaking, especially Jim Brown.. He can't have many seasons left in him, would love to see us win something,(AFC North, playoff game, Super bowl ) before he leaves us. BobPound!
  5. Dixon and Minnifield. / Williams and Ward Slaughter, Langhorn Kosar/Beckam, Landry and Mayfield Not to mention Olivier and Garret .. Paired with Oganjobi and Richardson... The pairs we are coming up with are getting downright historic.. If I could speak to the players of this 2019 team I would tell them this.. Give us FIVE YEARS of your life. Put your head down and play your fucking heart out and you will be fucking LEGENDS for life.. How many 25 year olds can even be in that position.. Five years and a Super Bowl win somewhere in there, and they will go down in history.. What more motivation do you need? Hell if they go 1-15 next year again, the 2018 season will still go down as one of the best in the new Browns era bar none. I am still re-watching games and highlights.. BobPound
  6. The energy feels real this year. I remember watching early season footage from this show and the HBO show and feeling cringie at times even as I was getting very excited.. I feel that they are getting along, and the feelings are real... I am so looking forward to this season. BobPound!
  7. LOVE our new Defensive Coordinator. Seems passionate and has a lot to prove in the way his previous employers treated him..
  8. If this is accurate, this is really good for us. Especially the 2nd half of the season. Cinci twice, Buffalo, Baltimore. And WTF is @Denver again.. I like the Jets Opening, gives us a good chance to get started on the right foot. San Fran and Miami are definitely winnable. And of course twice for Pittsburgh.. I like the schedule if it turns out correct and it seems plausible.. Easier schedule in my opinion than last year and technically we should be a much better team going into this season.. I am excited.. BobPound!
  9. Last time these two were together.. You have Jeremy Hill a so-so running back who racked up over 1400 yards and Zach Mettenberger a pretty much nobody now racked up over 3k yards.. OH and each of them earned over 1000 yards receiving and 18 TDs combined... And they are BETTER now with Chubb and Baker and Njoku and Calloway as their team mates... If this doesn't get you excited, you are dead.. The mismatches are going to be monumental.. The only thing that could derail this(baring injury) is if Baker has an aneurysm with the plethora of choices he has on every down :).. 10. Been hearing from multiple sources that Beckham is LOVED in the locker room.. If by Diva you mean "pay me some money", then you're damn right, we are all divas.. I would leave my work right now if someone offered me another 10K a year, why should he be any different... Now being a dick like Bell and Brown isn't cool.. Like me purposely tanking my job so they fire me and put me on unemployment.. That is extortion and the league should be able to stop a player from doing that. We are all expendable and my work would fire me tomorrow if they felt it would help their bottom line. There are very few organizations that can use the "Loyalty" card to keep their players, Pittsburgh was one of them(not so much now ). and maybe the Patriots. We are showing him the money and there are no indications whatsoever that he will be a cancer in the locker room... I only fear his off field mouth might become a distraction.. That is a real worry.. But nothing has shown him to be a locker room cancer. BobPound!
  11. Frenchie I am with you... We waited nearly 20 years with the new Browns to get here. I was OK making some strides into the upcoming year with the base team we had last year.. Here are my fears.. If we start gutting what made the team special last year by getting rid of core people like Peppers and Fells and Zeitler and likely Johnson(the next shoe to drop) we are going to lose the total buy in we got from our team last year.. I can only hope that all these big egos and big names(AND BIG PAYCHECKS) doesn't turn us into gun for hire team. We did so well last year with a bunch of nobodies and rookies.. I fear we are also eating our seed corn for a fast climb up the ladder.. But I will be bitterly disappointed if we do really well next year(unless we actually win the SB) only to find the next season we have to start over again because all these big names want us to show them the money... For now I will bask in the glory that we suddenly find ourselves in... No games have been played in 2019, so the sky is the limit.. I will trust Dorsey. And I will trust the process. But HOW we get to the top to me is very important.. I don't want a team filled with big egos and guns for hire. BobPound!
  12. I think that Dorsey is going to choose people in his and Kitchens mold. Not pedigrees, not men who were "IN CHARGE" when good things happened to this team or that team. They are going to bring people in that others want to follow and work for. Not to be mistaken with weak leaders who let the rabble run free.. But men (and I wouldn't rule out a woman getting a position under Dorsey/Kitchens) who inspire people to want to work for them.. If you look at the picks that Dorsey has made, what one defining attribute seems to now be evident after a year of watching them? Baker, Kitchens(which we now find out was really a Dorsey pick and not Hue or Haley), Landry, etc all have a defining characteristic. They all pull the best out of those around them. Not by force or because they were told to do that, but rather that is their innate personality.. Watch every pick up and down the structure from here on out, so long as Dorsey(and by extension Kitchens) is doing the picking, they are going to have to FIRST and FOREMOST pass the test of being a good leader that leads not because they were put in charge, but because people want to work for them.. From the Ball boy to the GM. This structure could be incredible.. The only potential stumbling block is the Haslam's who are egotistical and arrogant leader types who view leadership as the only criteria for people to respect them. They have money and power and they are in charge. That in their minds make them great leaders.. If Haslam decides he has soured on Dorsey's radially different management approach, he will be canned.. But so far so good.. He seems to be differing to Dorsey.. Bobpound!
  13. they are sticking with him. Special Teams and D is saving their ass right now.
  14. And mark it.. OUT COMES JACKSON and in comes Flacco.... This is their season ...
  15. As I stated last week in our game against the Ravens... Lamar Jackson is a RB who is good at throwing the ball. They are a 1 trick pony and Chargers saw that trick 3 weeks ago and are owning them right now. So long as they stay disciplined, which the Browns did not, they will shut them out. BobPound!
