Devastating news. The owner and founder of our board passed away last night, according to his wife, Kathy. Stan was a hell of guy that I met back on the old AOL Grandstand in October of 1997. We traveled through the Browns internet desert together until he founded this place in 2003 to give us a home. He always grumbled to me how he lost money on this place, but he never pulled the cord on it because I know deep down it was near and dear to his heart. I don't know any details at this time, I just know I have lost one of my best friends in life, and his wife and family are devastated, he had five kids, the youngest is a Senior in High School. I agree, this is a good test for our team. I am surprised TB is only favored by 3.5, they are loaded with weapons. Not much of a running game, but no-names always run on us. Greg Williams is going to have to call a bend but don't break game like he did against Baltimore and we need at least three turnovers to get to them. Winston has great arm-talented and amazing receivers ... but he isn't the brightest tool in the shed, so we've got to give him some looks he hasn't seen and Garrett and Ogbah need to get after him, and hopefully an inside push from Obgonjobi too. We can't let him sit back there all day and pick apart coverage: Ward ----> Trying to neutralize the 6'5 Evans Carrie ---> Trying to stay with Desean Jackson averaging 24 yards per catch Calhoun ---> You get Chris Goodwin, no slouch TWO very good TEs for our safeties and linebackers to cover: O.J Howard and Cameron Bratte Just matchup nightmares. Mahomo is Desone Kizer on a good team with a year to prepare ... we'll see. Mayfield and and Deshaun Watson are the two guys that have come out recently where you feel they can step right into an NFL huddle and command the field, they both have A+ in leadership skills. Watson has shown he can ball too, I expect similar from Mayfield when he gets in there with Gordo and Landry ... still can't believe we have weapons now, it is like Christmas every morning I wake up. I agree he is the Greatest. But you use Steve Kerr as an argument? Nice little sharpshooter, but averaged 6 points per game. He had Pippen and Grant for the first three and Pippen and Rodman the last three. Pippen is a HOF and Top 50 all-timer. Rodman was one of the best defensive players in NBA history.
