Sendejo was " covering" the reciever on many of these plays
We may as well play with 3 dbs

and another TD pass... 4 so far today this time to Higgins
Mayfield will have well over 300 yards passing at this rate
He has 252 so far

Doesn't Cleveland have a decent number as well? Or has that changed with the Mayfield bandwagon?
When I lived there it was split

Yeah they do, a lot of wishy-washy former BROWNS fans.
And 3-0 coulda been 7-0.
Grew up there At least today in Tennessee I can see network and not an intermittent stream

I’m not even surprised anymore. He shows up fashionably late on plays but celebrates other guys plays pretty well so I guess there is that.
I think in the grand scheme of things he’s waiting to pull out some miracle game saving INT against the Steelers to get us in the playoffs.
Don't hold your breath waiting

I don’t know who that guy is
Look for a defensive back who commits a penalty or gives up a big play. You will find him

The Giants are my adopted team so I watched Sunday as I was watching the Browns.
I’m worried about their run game against our front which has been prone to poor tackling and our LBs on MIA missions to somewhere other than where they need to be. Miles Sanders didn’t look 100% put he could be 100% by this Sunday. They have some household names on the oline that appear to be run blocking fine. Pass protection has been an issue.
Reagor WR scares me. Ward probably follows Fulgham. The iggles play calling and Wentz trying to do too much have limited the scare factor a little. But if we see Sendejo try to pick up Reagor We are going to see 6 on the board. Goedert is a legit TE receiving threat that can give us some problems too.
This is a very capable roster. For some reason they were like 0-9 on 3rd down and the Giants have very pedestrian defense.
They are capable of breaking out against us
Defensively, Eagles really didn’t pressure Jones enough and gave up way too many good gain on the ground. They had troubling containing Danny Dimes it won’t be easier with Baker and his bootlegs.
the Eagles are giving up something like 70% TDs inside the red zone. Unheard of from their Defense.
When Sendejo covers any body, a 6 is likely

I’ve been harsh in other posts about him. He’s an easy target.
In pointing out the 17-19 numbers it shows he’s played at a really high level and most recently at a solid level (less than 12 months ago). Maybe he adjusts to our scheme gets comfortable. I don’t like the prospects of that but who knows.
If he gets any more comfortable in the secondary, he will start snoring. A 44.7 PFF score is not even a quality backup

Ah...
From the condemning posts I would have sworn we had a better option... even if it was only playing 10 on Defense.
Playing 10 on defense may be an improvement over playing Sendejo Addition by subtraction

They should change his name to "Pendejo"
Given his play, you are too kind

Perfection is unobtainable and I fear that for some posters, they’ll never accept that fact
How about simply making a tackle or breaking up a pass

The Browns scoring defense is nothing to crow about

It's definitely possible. I wouldn't expect it to happen, but you never know. Most 5th rounders don't end up starting in their second year, or at all really, so perhaps he's that rare diamond in the rough? The best things about Mack are his speed and his nose for the ball. When I went back through the Bengals game, one thing I noticed was our lack of speed in the middle of the field. Mack will certainly help with that.
He cannot be any worse than what we currently have

Ah yes.. the bloody refs did it again ..fan thread
Let's go ref'in now, every teams learning how, come on a safari with me 🤓
Well at least we can't draw the Walt Anderson's crew this Week to Cleveland..btw, did ya happen to see the Marty GLEEM, sparking out of the Chuckie Gruden eyes & The Black Hole crowd with Walt's crew? I was saddened, while thrilled for the Oakland fan base with that Win..
Anywho? We drew the talents of the Ron Torbert crew again. 6th season as a Head ref, attorney from Michigan St..
1 former player in his 1st season as a ref.
And yeah!! Sarah Thomas is the DJ. (hail the queen of zebras)
1 26 year, ref from Akron. a 21 year ref from Freddie's sweet home Bama
YikeS!! a well needed Probation Officer from E.Kentucky (what could go wrong?)
4 band-aides stuck with this same crew & 1 was transfer to this crew
Torbert is 2-2 calling Bills games as a head referee. with a combined 25 flag game in a Pats win
Torbert is 1-4 calling Browns games. Our only win with Torbert was a Oakland win back in 2014..14 combined flags were tossed in that game
You count the flags..I'll watch the game.. Go GLEEM!!
In that case 15 penalties.
