They haven’t given up like the Eagles have and the internal turmoil seems to have gone away a bit.  I believe we were fortunate playing them in the conditions we played them in.
The Colts were banged up prior to the Titans game it has gotten worse for them.  After their tackle went out I believe they ended the game with three straight 3 and outs

agree the texans are not a easy out and could be helpful for us down the road  also didnt indy have 5 players out on D last sunday ?

Aren't the playoffs now mainly held in 4 different cities?

No, I guess not.  Last year there were playoff games in 9 different cities, including the Super Bowl in Miami.

So, what 4 cities?  I mean, if there are to be no fans,  they could play on a high school field. Or should they play on all neutral fields....choosing only cities whose team has not made the playoffs?

Or...how about  Tom Benson Stadium....fka Fawcett Stadium, next to the PFHOF in Canton.   Though I guarantee you they would probably want domes....after all, what says "bubble" more than a domed stadium.    I would venture that they would put games in the new  LA and Las Vegas stadiums, and probably Houston and Dallas...or Arizona.

I guess I always found it ironic that the cities that could most use a dome for bad weather do not have one, but cities that do not have cold winter weather do have them:   No domes in New England/NY/Buffalo/Philly/Balt./Wash/Pittsburgh/Cleveland/Cinci/Chicago/Green Bay/KC.  (Only Detroit/Indy/Minn. have domes in the NE and midwest).  And is it a coincidence that Detroit and Minn. have never been to a Super Bowl when playing in a dome?

But there are domes in LA/Vegas/Arizona/Dallas/Houston/New Orleans.  Those are probably domes in order to avoid the heat rather than to avoid the cold.

play all the games here in portland that way i could disguise myself as a cardboard cut out and sneak into all the games

Yes Chubb saved the day...again.  Yes, a non losing season.

Up to the 4th quarter, I just had the feeling that we were going to win the game.  Even though we weren't doing well when we got into scoring position.  And then as the 4th quarter marched on, I was getting that nagging feeling that we were going to lose.  Denzel Ward and Nick Chubb have been saving the games for us.  Glad Nick continued the tradition today.  -  And at the end of the game, just getting the first down and jumping to the ground.  A tremendously smart and unselfish player.  He could've ran for more yardage, but what good could have come from it?  A blind-side hit causing a fumble?  A player throwing a bad block while your extending the play?  No chance!  Because Nick Chubb does the right thing!  God I love that guy.

you know something I never got that losing feeling

Hopefully.  Game would be on the road.

I am wondering if  road/home means that much these days with no or few fans in attendance.    The Browns do seem to still play better at home nevertheless.

This is such an excellent point, SD. Stefanski and Baker have been together for less than one season and didn't even have a typical offseason together. Perhaps coach has to learn how to better instruct Baker, and perhaps they need to grow TOGETHER. Let's also remember that our coach hasn't ever been a head coach before! I mean, I totally get the frustration. Regardless of coaching styles, no QB should ever miss the 3 awful tosses Baker did. But we also need just a little perspective. Do we all remember how awful our QB play was the past 20 years? Because I do.

Players have bad games. QBs have bad games. Did anyone see how bad Kyler Murray was yesterday? He's a #1 pick and had a terrible day that resulted in a loss. Derek Carr was pretty bad yesterday as well. It HAPPENS. Heck, I saw Aaron Rodgers blow a 10 point lead against the Bucs and make some of the worst throws in history.

Baker is missing easy passes because he gets excited. On the one Higgins, a DL got his big paw up in the air directly in Baker's field of vision. He clutched the ball (wisely) but then got too excited about how open Higgins was and didn't set his damn feet. That can be taught. Same thing with Hunt. He was so open that he got excited. Baker will learn to calm down. He's really good, and he's going to show it for many years. Let's also have some patience because the kid is due for a clunker. Look at his stats...they're pretty damn good, and that's with a month of awful conditions tossed in there!

what i believe has not been said is even with missed throws at bad times of a game those pass's have never cost us a game

That is the moment I started really liking him.

I liked how he didn't get offended or throw out a "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?"

He simply said he played for the Browns. I like that about him. It's why I bought his jersey and wear it every week.

im sure die hard hates his story

Yea, usually wide open games.  But I don't know, is the officiating there any worse than in the NFL?

YES it is fucking horrid even after a official makes a statement about a play they have to re huddle and reverse what he said fuckers should not even be allowed to do a pee wee game

A nice little local rivalry.   Not a major one on the national state.   It is superseded even in the Pac 12 by USC/UCLA,  Stanford/Cal.   Probably on a par with  Wash/Wash. St.   or Ariz./Ariz. State.

and those are fun games to watch

have you watched any pac 12 games ? god the officials in that league suck

I was pleased when they drafted him, but I was wrong.....

David Njoku is NOT a football player! He's a superb athlete with no heart. If they cut him NOW, I would cheer!

    Mike

he really likes his tv time what a poser

Interesting that we have so many divergent opinions on the best college rivalry  (behind OSU/Mich).  So far we have:

    Alabama/Auburn

    Notre Dame/USC

    Texas/Oklahoma

    Army/Navy

    Any more out there:

And Russ(Balpeen) ....what is up with the Florida trilogy rivalries?  Have they diminished somewhat?   (who is Florida's biggest rival?  FSU or Georgia?....I don't think they ever play Miami, do they?

oregon/ oregon state one of the longest which the Beavers won on friday fuck the ducks

  11. the malaise that has surrounded the city of Cleveland seems to be lifting finding ways to win instead of snatching a lose out of the jaws of victory days are over I will take a ugly win any fucking day of the week over a 400 yard passing attack with the ground and pound with a good qb who doesnt turn the ball over, getting Miles back this week and Ward back for the ratbird game are huge +'s for are playoff march and once we get there anything can happen
