Well, gents, I don't know if I have the virus or not, but I just got put on 14 day quarantine this afternoon by my doctor.
Started to get a sore throat late last night, followed by a persistent headache and low grade fever/cough earlier this morning.
Long story short, due to the shortage of covid-19 test kits, I wasn't eligible to be tested for it, so my primary physician put me on home quarantine for the next two weeks. I won't be able to return to work until the 31st, and won't be drawing a dime during that time.
My bigger concern is my folks. I moved back in with them a little bit ago to focus on paying my student debt down and build up a down payment for a house. They are both in their 60s, and quite frankly, I am very worried that they might have been exposed to whatever I have. I'm more concerned about them than myself at this point, so i've holed up in my room on the other side of the house to stay away from them.
This whole day has been quite surreal.

It's a great 1st day....but there is a LOT of work to do and a draft that still needs to happen.....
Today we added depth to QB....upgraded one position we were"ok" at ......and filled one true hole at RG.....
But we have gaping holes at safety and LB.....So, I will reserve judgement until I see how he fills the most recent holes he created with cuts, as well as seeing how we do in the upcoming draft.......LOTS of picks and deals yet to be completed....
Im optimistic he will be aggressive(as he said he would).....So day 1 gets an A.....
and more than likely a edge rusher vernon is due 15 mill this year and I would guess his days here are numbered

Here is Today's Trivia Question.
My son has gotten me into "birding (don't call it birdwatching) " lately. It gives me something to do and helps me get some exercise. So the question is simple:
Name all the teams in the NFL/NBA/NHL/MLB that have bird nicknames. I think there are anywhere from 12-15 teams.
bird battles in the sky are always fun to watch and humingbird battles are cool damn they are territorial
toronto blue jays which are the most hated bird of all

So basically what changes is:
- No player "red carpet".
- Names won't be written on a card which is then run to the front of a hall.
- Fans won't be on hand to cheer and/or boo players... many of whom the fans don't know anything about.
- No Roger-hugs.
- No one sweating in the Green Room as his name is not called.
Last one is the only one I'll miss... although the lavalava clad Danny Sheldon picking up Roger was pretty cool.
i actually enjoy all the hoopla

RENTON — The Seahawks took a relatively low risk on receiver Josh Gordon when they claimed him off waivers Nov. 1, picking up the remainder of his one-year contract.
But given Gordon’s extensive history of substance abuse issues in college and in an NFL career that dates to 2012, the Seahawks always knew there was a chance they’d get a call that Gordon had again run afoul of the league’s rules.
Such a call came Monday afternoon with the league informing the Seahawks that Gordon had violated NFL policies for using both performance-enhancing substances and substances of abuse.
Gordon, 28, was suspended indefinitely by the league and can no longer have contact with the Seahawks, for whom he played five games, making seven catches for 139 yards and no touchdowns.
This is Gordon’s eighth suspension in his NFL career — seven by the league and another by Gordon’s first team, the Cleveland Browns. The suspensions forced him to miss all of the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

Well...maybe. But clearly Tannehill is in there, and there will be no Brady. I guess we shall see if that works for them.

I'm shocked that this isn't happening when Cleveland is hosting it. Would be just our luck to get the draft, only to have some beer-named virus make it unattendable.

49ers also seem like they are sticking with Garropolo and not getting into Brady sweepstakes:

Who does that leave for Brady? Tampa Bay, maybe. I still think the Chargers could be his top choice. And of course, staying with the Pats.
why not the titans ? they can franchise their rb and is tannehill really all that ? i dont think so
