Another one of your nut job sources had to pay for lying about the election. Too bad we don't get to know how much it cost them to tell you losers what you wanted to hear.
https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/16/media/oan-smartmatic-settlement
Voting technology company Smartmatic and the far-right network One America News said Tuesday that they had settled a defamation lawsuit stemming from the outlet’s lies about the 2020 election. “The case has been resolved pursuant to a confidential agreement,” OAN attorney Chip Babcock told CNN. Both parties declined to share details about the settlement. The case against OAN was one of a spate of lawsuits filed against right-wing outlets in the aftermath of the election. In the wake of the 2020 presidential contest, pro-Donald Trump outlets spread lies wrongfully suggesting President Joe Biden had not been legitimately elected president. Smartmatic filed its lawsuit against OAN in 2021, alleging that the right-wing conspiracy network “victimized” the company and spread lies about its role in the 2020 election to “increase viewership and revenue.”

DJT Stock Crashes Again As Trump’s Stake Dips To $2 Billion (forbes.com)
It lost another 10% today(24 so far). I'm guessing it will be under 20 by the end of the week. Shit, maybe the end of the day. 👍
A senior editor at Forbes predicts that the stock of Donald Trump’s social media company “could go to zero,” and retail investors who bought it to support the former president could lose big.
“If you look at the fundamentals of the company, it’s poised to go down a lot more,” Dan Alexander told CNN’s Erin Burnett on Monday. “If you look at the number of users this company has, the amount of revenue that it generates, you know, its valuation should be measured in the hundreds of millions of dollars, at the most. Right now, the public markets are valuing it at 3.5 billion.”
You guys need to figure out how to blame this on ByDon. I guess you could just wait for Cheetos to come up with the excuse.

Let see if Cheetos got is Adderall today or will he be napping some more in court today. 😄

So the usual. No defense of your cult leader, just crying and personal attacks. You are expecting Cheetos to win he first case? How many loses in a row do you need to stop feeling like he is going to win the next one?
After years of cheering to lock people up, you may finally get your wish. 👍

The 34 counts of falsifying business records will be easy to prove. He is guilty AF for those, but making them a felony is where it gets more interesting. In order for them to be a felony the DA has to show falsifying the records were used to cover up another crime. They don't have to charge him with the other crime, just show how the records were used to try hide another crime.
Cheetos has already violated the gag order multiple times, curious when that will come up in court.
Trump hush money trial: Judge denies recusal request from defense | AP News
NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Trump arrived Monday at a New York court for the start of jury selection in his hush money trial, marking a singular moment in American history as the former president and current White House hopeful answers to criminal charges.
It’s the first criminal trial of any former U.S. commander-in-chief and the first of Trump’s four indictments to reach trial. Because he is also the presumptive nominee for this year’s Republican ticket, the trial will produce the head-spinning split-screen of a presidential candidate spending his days in court and, he has said, “campaigning during the night.”
For you losers that will ask what "crime did he break". See below. And for the follow up, what is the underlining crime. We get to find out in the next couple of weeks. (Spoiler: it's 2016 election interference.)

More than talk....
https://www.npr.org/2024/04/15/1244716743/biden-samsung-texas-semiconductor-chips
The Biden administration is giving Samsung $6.4 billion to help build massive new semiconductor chip plants in central Texas, the latest in a series of investments that the government hopes will transform the U.S. manufacturing sector. Samsung itself is expected to invest $40 billion in the project, which will build new plants in Taylor, Texas, which is northwest of Austin, and expand the company's existing plant in Austin. The tiny chips will be used in technology that's needed for everything from artificial intelligence, to medical devices like pacemakers.

House Democrats introduce bill to rename Miami federal prison after Trump - ABC News (go.com)
The legislation, which would rename the Miami Federal Correctional Institution in Florida as the "Donald J. Trump Federal Correctional Institution," was officially filed on Wednesday, April 3....
"Everyone knows President Trump loves to write his name in gold letters on all his buildings. But he's never had his name on a federal building before and as a public servant I just want to help the former president. Help us make that dream a reality," Moskowitz joked in a statement released Friday.
They can have the library too.

So you are OK with more tax cuts for super rich, while cutting SS. Good to know.

Anyways Beavis, there is a hearing. Seems like the company doesn't have the money to actual post the bond. Just another attempt from Cheetos to cheat. NY DA may be bringing new charges because Cheetos's CFO perjured himself at the trial.

"finder" is an interesting word for the person who admitted to stealing the diary. Hey I guess if friend let them live in their house, you would find a lot of stuff and you sell that stuff, right?

'Returned for correction': Trump's $175M bond gets bounced (lawandcrime.com)
The cause for the rejection, according to the New York County Supreme Court website, is because the requisite paperwork lacked a current financial statement.
-
Damn can this idiot do anything right? Still funny you guys see having to pay 175 million as a "win". You guys keep buying that DJT stock, otherwise it will start to tank as Cheetos unloaded it. 👍
Donald Trump has seen paperwork related to the $175m bond he posted on Monday to appeal the $464m New York fraud judgement against him rejected and “returned for correction”, according to the New York County Supreme Court.
The documentation failed to include a current financial statement or list an attorney-in-fact and has been returned to the Republican presidential candidate for resubmission.

Ouch.
U.S. gross domestic product was 2.5% in 2023, significantly outpacing that of other developed economies, according to a January report from the International Monetary Fund. The IMF projected that the U.S. will hold that lead in 2024, though it expects GDP to come down to 2.1%.
“The U.S. economy is leading the way for the global economy. It’s driving the global economic train,” Moody’s Chief Economist Mark Zandi told CNBC.
Even as interest rates spiked, the labor market has stayed strong. In March, U.S. private companies added 184,000 jobs, payrolls processing firm ADP reported on Wednesday, well ahead of the Dow Jones estimate of 150,000 jobs. It is the fastest employment growth the U.S. economy has seen since July 2023.
The stock market has also made record gains over the past several months and housing values have soared, though they have now begun to decline as inventory improves.
“We had more fiscal stimulus than any other country and that is part of the reason why the U.S. has recovered from the Covid depression better than any other country,” said economist Josh Gottbaum, a former White House and Treasury Department official in both Republican and Democratic administrations, currently a guest scholar at the Brookings Institution.
