Our run d hasn't been good either, but theirs stinks too. We've given up 4.9 ypc and 8 TDs rushing and they've given up 4.4 ypc and 9 TDs. Plus they've played all the worst teams in the league. We could lose to Allen, like we lost to the rookie last week on basically two fluke plays (the long TD to Fant on a dump off and the throw that Sutton took away from Ward), but it's still better to play a bad QB of course

Advanced stats say Allen is worse. He has a worse QBR, worse DVOA, and worse DYAR. DVOA and DYAR are like WAR in baseball, so compared to a replacement level QB, Allen is worse. Allen also has fewer passing yards. You don't need these advanced stats to tell you Allen is pure garbage though, you can easily tell that by watching him play 😂

Except the Jets, we destroyed the Jets. Plus I don't think Denver is that crappy, they should have beat the Bears, Colts, and Jags except for last minute drives aided by some bad calls and kickers being clutch. Denver could easily be 6-3

Amen! I too think it looks bright for these Browns. Even though the current record is bad, the number of quality players we have now is higher than ever. It's been frustrating watching this year because you know they can do better, instead of them just not having enough talent like in almost every other year since '99 Also, congrats on the upcoming 50th anniversary!

Hunt will help with that too. Losing Njoku really hurt our red zone ability too, he was a big target that demanded attention. The Pats dink and dunk down the field, but when they get in the red zone they mostly pound it in or they used to throw it to Gronk. Our small wrs are no good down there unless you can fool the d, which Freddie hasn't been able to do

I think the media chooses who they like and don't like and they stick to it. I'm watching the MNF game and they praised Jones for doing a good slide at the end of the game 😂 The media decided they loved Tebow even though it looked like he was throwing sofa cushions and Eli even when he threw 20+ picks every year and Fatberger even though he's a rapist team cancer. And they crapped on Romo his whole career even though he had a winning record, good stats, and was a good guy by all accounts. I agree, the offense is in shambles, but I blame Freddie's play calling, especially in the red zone. They've gotten down there against every team and can't finish. If they could they would've beat Denver, Seattle, and at least tied the Rams

Media loves Daniel Jones, hates Mayfield. Baker has been inconsistent this year, but gets no benefit of the doubt i.e. first year head coach, no o.t.a.s with OBJ, playing Pats and 49ers away, many questionable calls against like the 4th down first down not given. Yet Jones has largely been crap, his only two wins are against teams with a combined 3-14 record, he turns it over a ton, but the media never points out that he sucks chode. It's just like how the media never pointed out that Eli sucked, they'd only say, well, he won 2 super bowls, he's a hall of famer. They always seem to love the Giants QB, even when they blow (Phil Simms anyone?)

Damn right! It's not just the Browns that get screwed, it's all the teams that are considered lower i.e. Jets, Bills, Cards, Jags. The most favoured teams are the Pats, Seahawks, Packers, Steelers, by far. When the Pats played the Jags in playoffs two years ago it was a joke, everytime there was a key play the call went the Pats way

I don't blame y'all for doubting, they've been playing tight all year, I think that's because of the pressure of expectations. Also, Freddie's red zone play calling and game management has been atrocious. But if they can string a few wins together and get loose, and Freddie learns how to coach/gives play calling duties to someone else, who knows? And win or lose, I'm a Browns fan, might as well hope for the best after I'm done yelling at the tv. Also, maybe I was smoking a little something, you know, for the pain

It's too easy. Even at 2-6 there's a straight line. First, win out. We only play crap from here on out, so that's no problem. We finish at 10-6, 6-0 in the division. That puts us ahead of the Bungholes, they've already lost more games. Beating the Squeenutz twice puts them at 10-6 at best and we have the tiebreaker. Done. Our only problem is the Cravens. But we already beat them in their dump-ass stadium. Really thumped them too. We'll beat them again in Cleveland, so that gives them 3 losses. They need 3 more for us to take the division. Luckily, I found those losses: vs Texans, at Rams, vs 49ers. Maybe at Bills too. Final divison table: 1. Browns 10-6, 6-0 division 2. Cravens 9-7, 4-2 division 3. Squeenutz 6-10, 2-4 division 4. Bungholes 0-16, 0-6 division, Paul Brown rises from dead to retract the team, NFL is better for it. So that's how we win the division, make the playoffs, host a playoff game, and save Christmas. Pretty damn easy.
