  1. As the fixture schedule is about to be announced tomorrow  and Eagles play Green Bay in Brazil. This must shorten the odds slightly that our game against Jaguars could be one of the London Wembley games. I was looking into how long it's been since teams have played over here and New England have clocked the most years of teams that are on Jaguars home schedule this coming season. If it happens to be us that get the Wembley game any of you interested Browns fans will need to be right on the ball cos apparently when tickets went on sale last season they sold out in 2 days. The games in England are of interest to all NFL fans not just fans of the teams involved. When I've been in London when these games have been played in previous seasons you see fans in shirts of every team. Do tickets go on sale as soon as the schedule is confirmed or will there be a week or two while they sort out the friday/ Monday games etc? Cheers.

I can get this here too.  Sounds very good to me since I like high malt, low IPA.

    Size 4-15 oz cans

28915157205022.pngScotland- Stout- 4.2% ABV. Fresh roasted aroma with a hint of coffee from roasted barley. The addition of Chocolate malt adds a dark chocolate complexity. Clean, low levels of bitterness allows the key roasted and chocolate flavors to come to the forefront of this Scottish Stout.

    Belhaven Black

Not tried that one, I don't mind a Guiness now and again.

I went to a Scottish bar in Cincinnati a few years ago and ran into Belhaven beer.

    Pretty damn tasty.

Very familiar with that one as it's sold all over Scotland and some times turns up in York as a guest ale. Will no doubt be sampling a few more when I go to Edinburgh in April.

......  "Greetings from Munich, this is my 7th night away and I think my insides are pickled". .....

If that's 7 straight I don't think you want to be near any  bloodwork tests for awhile,  lol.   mjp.

It's this fizzy German beer, they're all like lagers, better than that Fosters rubbish that some of my mates drink. I can't wait to get on it before I come out then after a week of it I'm pining for a pint of Taylors Landlord or Exmoor Gold, the type of hand pulled real ale that I slurp at home with no fizz. Just 3 nights to go then fly back Monday if they aren't on strike. I can highly recommend Munich, lovely place.

Brazil doesn't excite me. Germany would be a blast, & I heard Tottenham is great.

I think it'll be London this coming season, any of you chaps up for it if it happens. I'll pop down all weekend and show you round Londons finest boozers, I don't drink in shit holes and I have a vast experience of drinking all over that city through organising off season days out on the piss round there and hundreds of visits pissing it up around Leeds awsy matches. I must be one of the only Northern fans with more imagination than visiting the Dolphin, Mabels and Euston flyer. The English lads on here will know what I'm on about. Greetings from Munich, this is my 7th night away and I think my insides are pickled.

Sorry if I missed it, how did you enjoy your time in Cleveland? I remember you posted you were looking for some good pubs/bars, just wondering where you went?

Had a right laugh, had a strole out to Brick and Barrel, had a walk out to Ohio City and went in The Angle. Went in Beerhead and Punch Bowl social and dished out some batterings to young uns and an old un on the dart board in Flannerys on East 4th. Was strange when I came out of their at 01.30 as I walked across the square all lit up, there wasn't a sole anywhere to be seen and next to no traffic anorl. Just seemed really peaceful for the centre of a big city. Didn't see anybody till I got back near the flats where there was a few party people mulling around. Everybody I met on the trip were brilliant and the hospitality was exceptional. Was funny when I had my Houston backers shirt on, other Browns fans looked right surprised when I opened my gob, had a couple of 'well you're not from Texas' comments. Went in Rock n Roll Hall of Fame which was excellent, must have spent over 4 hours in there and went in The Civil War memorial which was interesting. A very enjoyable holiday . Will see how the schedule falls and might pop back over a bit earlier in the season next time. Cheers.

Another trip to Denver WTF. Other than that, it looks ok.

Browns/Denver have met 32 times prior, 18 in Denver. Denver is 25-7 vs Cle.

I heard a rumor the Browns might be playing in Germany next year.

I'm hoping they play Jaguars at Wembley. I think Vikings have the game in Germany. Been looking at our away games and  several of them have MLS teams so that's got my cogs turning, the chance of some Browns action with some of our type of football thrown in could get me clocking up the miles again. Last trip came in just a bit short of 11,000 miles.

Yep, it's eventual that the Browns number will come up for another out of county road trip. I agree- probably this year. Three in England, one in Germany, and one in Brazil?  LOL is Japan or Australia next?

I guess you could sign me up for Brazil, not just for the football, but to knock off one of my astronomy bucket list items on the side. To get south of the equator to see the sky flipped upside down. The North Star is forever below the horizon there.  😉 PS there isn't a "South Star"...

The sun goes round the wrong way and water swirls down the plug hole in the opposite direction anorl.

Yorkie is like our secret good luck charm. We should totally all pitch in and buy him and me and my daughter tickets for the Bengals game next week, and maybe my girlfriend too but she’s a Bengals fan so probably not her. Waddya say fellas?

I’ll show him around Cincy and shove Skyline chili down his face, and we’ll virtually guarantee a win in the process! It’ll be great.

I just pictured myself with a face Full of hot chilli, I used to watch the lads at work getting stuck into hot Indian curries faces bright red and sweat dribbling off em, looked more like an ordeal than enjoyable meal but they used to say it was lovely. Cincy is a smashing idea but I know my boss wouldn't be over keen as the work will no doubt be queing up for me when I go back in on the 4th. One to consider for the future though. Cheers.

Congrats on being in the stadium for both Texans & Jets wins .. Yorkie's had a trip to remember.. Go Browns !

Before this trip I'd only ever seen them get beat. By Eagles in 91 and by Chargers in 92. I've been happy to discover that I'm not the jonnah that I thought I was. And that did actually cross my mind when I was planning this trip that if both games go tits up it'll be down to me bringing them bad luck and also that I'd get chased out of town.

  11. That was absolutely mint tonight, the second half was as tight as the first half was open. Walking back to m.y hotel on W10th all the bars were rammed with huge queues outside so my hotel bar was the best bet. Numerous Browns fans staying over that have come in from all over Ohio are in the bar with me. Chuffed to bit's for all Browns fans cos it was obvious just how much tonight's result meant to everyone as we came out of the stadium. I don't half pick em don't I.

I was only talking about the peacock last week to a blues mate at work....the places we've been to and thought afterwards.....'how the hell didn't we get the shit kicked out of us!!' 😀

How do u go about getting tickets for browns games?......and are they expensive?.....it seems a lot more in comparison to premier league prices but that might just be where I've looked.

Let's hope we get that win tonight.....and no more fu**in injuries!! 👍😀

Had a lot of advice off the chaps on here regarding tickets. It's all paperless now though so I bought a new phone to be able to do it. I sussed out where I wanted to sit on my laptop cos the screens bigger then booked them on my phone. Paid slightly over $100 for each game. Got in a fair old flap about doing it but it was easy enough in the end. As regard dodgey days out I've been very lucky over the years. Took a kicking at Man City and almost got sparked. Wore a bus window at Man U, glass in my hair and clothes. Took a baton round my face in Rome off the Carabinieri that almost put my lights out. I know lads that have had a lot worse so can't complain considering how long I've been going. Just on east 4th now enjoying some local Cleveland brews in Flannerys. Had some top suggestions for brew houses off chaps on here which I'll check out over the next few days, fair does to the lass serving me, she's not letting me sit here with an empty glass. Cheers.

Alright mate, ah yes I like a greggs 👍

I've been to elland road a couple of times down the years, not for ages though. Dean saunders villa debut.....about 1992.....and then around 2000ish, can't remember anything about that game apart from we lost.....and we were in the peacock before the game, rather intoxicated 😀

Been around donny a bit with work.....I drive a truck so been into amazon at rossington, and a little place called dixon timber more in the town.

Sounds like ur having a trip of a lifetime mate....I would love to go over and do a browns game. I missed the london game we had about 6 years ago, it coincided with the birth of my daughter....I'll never forgive her!! 😂

Was at both games you mentioned, had an S/T for 30 seasons but only go now and again now. Rossington Main is the non league team that I watch occasionally due to working with lads that have played or are involved with the club. They've done The Peacock up and it's brilliant but it's now home fans only after an incident or two. The wall paper is a mish mash of ticket stubs, programme covers and old football cards. Looks mint. And yes the holiday has been a right laugh so far but it's more expensive than I thought and the dollars are disappearing quickly, mostly over various bar tops. Here's to another win tonight! Cheers.

NFL Hunter is pretty reliable for streaming games live. Sometimes takes a while to connect but then stays on all game. I used to pay for nfl game pass but if the game is on sky over here then it's blocked so u then have to pay for sky. Nfl hunter u have the choice of all the games all of the time 👍

Ay up Claret, I see your a Greg's and Villa fan. I was down yours for the last two mid week games with Leeds before we went down, we had a fine slurp round Litchfield pre match on both visits. Always liked your ground going right back to the 80s before redevelopment  and the AV flood lights. Done several of your boozers round there in days gone by one or two which sadly no longer exist I believe. City centre is good with pubs like the Wellington and Old Contemptables setting fine ale standards. Have you had the pleasure of a visit to Leeds? All the Gregs staff in Doncaster frenchgate know my face and I only work in the town. Cheers.

You’ve likely already found this out, but everything’s bigger in Texas. Go ahead and yank your trousers down, you’ll see.

I took your advice and now I've been arrested for flashing! Hope they let me out in time for my flight north tomorrow. Worst bit was the lasses pointing and laughing.

  17. I thought we were excellent and that was my first win. Most of the Texan fans disappeared before full time and the game finished in an almost empty stadium with the exception of our support. Went to pre match bash on Saturday night and met lots of Texas based backers and then met them all again at the tailgate on Sunday. Been surprised at how quiet down town Houston has been but the welcome and hospitality I've received has been bang on. I can highly recommend Birra Porretti and the pubs on main street to anyone who passes this way as I'm eating and drinking like a Lord. Was surprised that even the Texans fans that I talked to were good sports even after we'd given them a battering. I fly to Cleveland on Wednesday so I'll be in a pub near you lot soon. Merry Christmas everybody!

Hey Yorkie,  you've got me a bit giddy over  your  upcoming trip here to  "CLE 216 The LAND"  and all of that.  Some great sports diehard fans and a pretty good people to hang with.  Just curious in your spare time ..... if you've got any lately ..... if you've looked up a Cleveland native and terriffic writer on all things sports and CLE  Mr Terry Pluto ?   He's written volumes on the Cleveland sports world.  Look up his work if you get time.

I'm sure at some time you might hit   "IO"    "information overload"   but it's good to be prepared and ready before you shove off from the UK.  You've found some good guys here to chat with and if you have any other questions just ask.

Well we hope you have a wonderful trip, oh that giddy trip coming stuff coming up.  I'm 73 now and due to my back and hip stuff my long trips are  gone  -but-  I've had plenty, my wife occasionally will head to FLA with friends I will pass.  We've been to Canada on many trips, nice close place among others.

Information overload is about right, Cleveland has been quite easy cos everywhere is walkable from my hotel other than the metro from the airport and back. Houston has taken a bit more planning cos several of the pubs I want to visit are a long bus ride out from the centre so I have to plan that I can get back ok after a good slurp. Got a pile of maps with bus routes and times scribbled on but if I take care of it now I don't have to worry about it when I get there. Thanks to everyone on here for the tips and Information. Not long to go now.
