CLEVELandMILIDH Posted March 21, 2010 Report Posted March 21, 2010 As bad as we need a safety even if we plan on drafting one, which im sure we will. You gotta wonder why we haven't signed one yet, one theory.....were waiting for this guy Sharper has another week or two to wait Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on March 21, 2010 4:23 PM ET Darren Sharper doesn't sound likely to sign with a team before April. ESPN's Len Pasquarelli reports that the free agent safety still has another week or two of rehab to go before making any free agent visits. There are reportedly two teams that would like to meet with Sharper, but Pasquarelli still believes the "smart money" is on Sharper returning to the Saints. Still, a player is far less likely to return to his original team the moment a visit is made. T.J. Houshmandzadeh ultimately left Cincinnati last season because he felt disrespected by them waiting so long to make a competitive offer. Sharper wants to see more love from the Saints, but he seems unlikely to get it until another team sets his price.
shoot Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 Don't know why he'd leave the Saints, but this would be AWESOME.
