7moses7
Does anyone have stats to compare Colt McCoy with Graham Harrell? Didn't Texas and Texas Tech run a simular offense? Are they roughly the same build? Just curious.
BrownsBacker85
McCoy: CMP/ATT/YDS/CMP%/YPA/LNG/TD/INT/RAT 2006: 217/318/2570/68.2/8.08/72/29/7/161.82 2007: 276/424/3303/65.1/7.79/62/22/18/139.16 2008: 332/433/3859/76.7/8.91/91/34/8/173.75 2009: 332/470/3521/70.6/7.49/88/27/12/147.41 Harrell CMP/ATT/YDS/CMP%/YPA/LNG/TD/INT/RAT 2005: 37/55/422/67.3/7.67/44/3/0/149.73 2006: 412/616/4555/66.9/7.39/76/38/11/145.78 2007: 512/713/5705/71.8/8.00/75/48/14/157.31 2008: 442/626/5111/70.6/8.17/82/45/9/160.04 McCoy:6'2"/210 Harrell: 6'3"/205 I'm pretty sure that Colt ran the spread option offense and so did Harrell. The Gipper
Now what is all the hype for McCoy? Well, he was a winner for 4 years in college at the top level. Took his team to the Championship game. Runnerup for Heisman trophy. That is what the hype is for him. Whether or not that all translates to success at the NFL level is all a matter of speculation.
