damajuki Posted November 22, 2008 Report Share Posted November 22, 2008 Charlie Weis and Romeo Crennel deserve each other. This was one of the most pathetic coaching jobs I've ever seen. Knowing you don't have a kicker that can make ANY kick, let alone a long kick to win it, Charlie elects to kick a 53-yarder to try to win. But that's only the end of the stupidity. And he didn't have much choice since he put the team in that position. Up 23-10 in the fourth quarter, ND scores ZERO points and cannot rush the ball effectively. Hell, they barely TRIED to run the ball. Did I mention we were playing Syracuse? I'm not going to look up the stats because that will make me puke some more. It's becoming increasingly obvious that both Weis and RAC are nothing more than coordinators who were in the right place at the right time. Ugh. Two of my favorite teams with EXACTLY the same issues.
