Although they have more important needs, Weis is the OC there and there is no way they are completely sold on Cassel. Cassel will be the starter for at least one more year, and then Cassel will be the backup or dumped. Would I do it? Not sure, but I'm not Charlie Weis. Dave Posted April 5, 2010 Report Share Posted April 5, 2010 Didn't the Chiefs just sign Cassel to a Tom Brady-type franchise QB contract last year? Something like $14.5 million the first year?
