Browns57
Cleveland Browns no longer interested in WR Dez Bryant AUTHOR: Josh Sanchez | IN: 2010 NFL Draft | COMMENTS: 4 Comments Former Oklahoma State wide receiver Dez Bryant is the top-ranked wideout on many team’s draft boards, and the Lufkin, Texas native has multiple visits lined up. One of the teams that Bryant was scheduled to visit was the Cleveland Browns, but a source told SI.com’s Peter King the visit will no longer take place. Why? The Browns are not interested in Bryant. “He’s no longer on our list,” the source told King. “He’s not visiting us.” According to King, the Browns would prefer to take players without question marks on their resumes. Bryant’s character has raised a lot of concern and even earned him a spot on the NFL Mocks BUST-O-METER. It was just over a year ago that the Browns lost interest in Michael Crabtree due to his poor character and concerns about his attitude and in the middle of last season the team parted ways with diva wideout Braylon Edwards. This could all be a smokescreen, but looking at the Browns history regarding wide receivers this report seems to have merit.
Bag O'Browns
I thought he was a long shot at best prior to this coming out. I like his talent but with all of the failed first round picks, we really cannot afford to miss on this one.
mopaji
That's wierd, Mel Kiper said it was Bryant for the Browns? That guy is bad. Anyone can mock a draft and get a few right but he misses a lot and rarely ever knows who will be a good pro. Mayock is the way to go.
nobuo
Mock drafts are about as reliable as a horse drawn carriage bound together with yarn instead of nails and wood.
choco
kiper is one-dimensional.... "look at the stats, cleveland had the worst passing attack last year. the leading receiver averaged 38 yards per game. thats an obvious need at WR."
