cribbs is the man Posted April 14, 2010 Report Share Posted April 14, 2010 I agree that we need a thumper/big hitter on defense, that is something we greatly lack and hope we find that in a safety or LB. But the Browns gave up way too many long yardage plays often times due to players being out of position and not wrapping up when tackling (ie pool, elam, mcdonald etc..). I think Taylor Mays will make some big plays and am not totally opposed to taking him if we can get down to the late first round, but he doesnt wrap up well because he relies on his force and gets out of position and makes bad reads. Taylor does not help the Browns get better at reducing those long yardage plays, id rather have thomas and find a big hitting safety or LB later Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
